Welcome to Everyday Cooks Recipe Club—a fun, no-pressure cooking podcast for home cooks of all levels who love discovering easy recipes, helpful kitchen tips, and the occasional hilarious cooking mishap. We’re Kelly and Stephanie, two friends who started a cooking club to make our dinners more exciting and now we’re inviting you to pull up a chair and join us. Here’s the deal: Every month, one of us picks a recipe. It could be a cozy family favorite, a new dish we’ve never tried, or something that pushes us out of our comfort zone. We each make it in our own kitchens, navigating grocery shopping adventures, ingredient swaps, and plenty of “learning moments” along the way. Then we get together to dish on: ~Why we chose it ~How the shopping went ~The steps that made us cheer, laugh, or groan ~The tweaks we’d try next time ~Whether it’s destined to become a weeknight staple or a one-time experiment That’s our main monthly episode, a recipe deep dive with real talk about what worked and what didn’t. The rest of the month, you’ll get short and snackable episodes filled with quick meal ideas, time-saving cooking tips, kitchen gadget finds, and simple recipes you can make anytime. Think of them as the side dishes to our main course. If you’re looking for a home cooking podcast that feels more like chatting with friends in the kitchen than watching a polished cooking show, you’re in the right place. We believe great food doesn’t have to be complicated, mistakes make the best stories, and every home cook deserves a little club of their own. So grab your spatula, pour yourself something tasty, and hit play. Welcome to Everyday Cooks Recipe Club where we’re sharing recipes, tips, and laughs one month at a time, with plenty of delicious detours along the way.Copyright 2026 Kelly Smith アート クッキング 食品・ワイン

  • Cook Once, Eat 3 Times: Smart Meal Prep Strategies for Busy Weeks
    2026/09/22

In this episode of Everyday Cooks Recipe Club, Stephanie and Kelly talk about maximizing your time in the kitchen. Spend the time one day cooking a base ingredient in order to make the next 3 days of meals a breeze. We share ideas for cooking one base ingredient and turning it into three completely different meals. The secret is to change the flavor profiles, textures and temperatures so each meal feels like a fresh meal.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Batch cooking a specific ingredient like rice, veggies, pork, ground beef/ground turkey, salmon or chicken
    • Keeping the base seasoning neutral (only salt and pepper) so you can change the flavor profile for each meal
    • Transforming the texture for the second and third meals
    • Change the temperature for one of the meals
    • Use different spices or sauce for each meal to change the vibe and keep it fresh

  • Tuna Noodle Casserole, an Easy, Budget Friendly Weeknight Dinner
    2026/09/08

In this episode of Everyday Cooks Recipe Club, Stephanie and Kelly talk about the nostalgic comfort food, tuna noodle casserole. We dust off the recipe for this iconic pantry staple to see if it should be in your rotation. We talk about the classic ways to make the dish as well as some ways to elevate the dish. Plus Kelly brings us a bonus recipe!

In this episode, we talk about:

    • How this dish is classic, how it stretches and is affordable
    • How most tuna noodle casserole recipes include peas and use a can of cream of mushroom soup
    • Some recipes use egg noodles while others use various shaped pasta
    • We recommend not using peas and instead use broccoli or edamame or asparagus
    • Kelly made the cream sauce from scratch and it wasn’t hard!
    • The recipe Kelly followed has secret ingredients: dijon mustard and (smoked) paprika
    • Kelly recommends adding fresh chopped jalapeños or sriracha to the dish to finish it
    • Stephanie used Amish whole wheat noodles instead of traditional egg noodles that she got at the farm
    • Stephanie’s twist on the dish was to add mushrooms, use a can of cream of chicken soup, frozen edamame, asparagus and Italian seasoning
    • Kelly brings us a bonus recipe: a cold tuna pasta salad
    • She made up her own recipe because she couldn’t find exactly what she wanted and it turned out pretty good
