このコンテンツについて
Now, I don’t know about you but being single in a major city, especially during a pandemic is well… a total bummer. Sprinkle some low self-confidence and mental illness into the mix and you have yourself an good ‘ole fashioned sh*t show. My dating life has been, and continues to be exactly that. Not due to a shortage of great people being out there but rather, I haven’t been ready to find true love because I’ve been unable to love myself.
In today’s episode I open up about my love life and discuss how despite my desire to find my soulmate and settle down, I have been unsuccessful in my pursuit of lasting love because of my low self-esteem and poor mental health. You’re going to want to hear this. I promise.
To all the amazing women out there that I have been fortunate enough to date, regardless of seriousness or duration, this episode is dedicated to you. You have all taught me so much and I have nothing but [friendly] love and respect for each and every single one of you. Thank you for being a part of, and having an impact on my life. I wish you all nothing but love, success, and happiness!
Be sure to check back in next Sunday (2/21) for our first ever INTERVIEW episode, where I will be speaking with one of my closest friends, my brother from another mother, Christopher Pipkin – or, you may know him as Chris P.
Chris is a successful actor, fitness instructor, entrepreneur and all around great guy who always has the most positive and infectious attitude towards life. So naturally, I needed to know just how it is he is able to stay so positive in such cut-throat and (what can be) extremely judgmental and superficial industries. Also, in honor of Black History Month, Chris and I have a candid conversation about his experience as a black man in America and what actions he feels needs to take place in order to achieve lasting change towards equality.
If you enjoyed this episode and haven’t done so already, please be sure like this video and subscribe to my channel to help expand these conversations into more households and headphones!
Conversations need to be had. Stigmas need to be shattered. So, let’s see what we can do together.
