Toby wakes up on his only free day, planning to go Christmas shopping with his friends. He reflects on his dreams and heritage, especially the necklace he inherited from his grandfather. After helping his neighbor Mrs. Grayson with groceries, Toby rushes to catch the bus and encounters a mysterious woman with cat-like eyes. He arrives at Chenzo’s café, where the owner, Chenzo, is entertaining customers. Toby avoids flirtation from Sarah, a waitress, and prepares to meet his friends while working on his store’s menu.
