In 1973, two young children encountered a preternatural entity in the midst of Sandown in the UK - appearing to be a 7 foot tall, garishly dressed clown and introducing himself as Sam, the being would soon become known as Sam the Sandown Clown. Much about Sam is a mystery--his origin, his species, his motivations, perhaps even his real name.
