In this interview, pro rugby player Athi Mayinje relays his story of how as a young up and coming rugby player with the talent and ambitions for higher honours, he threw everything at building a successful career in the game.
He describes the toll that a myriad of injuries had on his progress on the path that he chose for himself. A path that eventually lead to the realisation of using his talents and status not to enrich himself, but as a means to touch the lives of the less fortunate in the challenged communities where he came from.
It's a story that really encourages us to determine God’s higher purpose for the talents and gifts bestowed on us…over and above mere personal ambitions.
