Born and raised in Galveston Texas, Marcé is a lifelong devotee of all things weird. Her passion for exploration and interest is not relegated to one aspect of culture and she is always willing to pursue her curiosity deep into the various rabbit holes that her proclivities present. Whether it’s spirituality, existentialism, Blackness, femininity, queerness, taboo, theater, or any other social or cultural practice, Marcé seeks to shed light and give a face to the less regarded and further fringe entities that breathe life into the Black experience in America. Marcé Butler is our gracious host and the voice of The Esoteric Negro.
