Welcome to Season 11 of SlashU! We've made it back to you after a September break. And to kick off both our new season and the Spooky Season, we covered "Haunt Season" from 2024. The story centers around Matilda, a new hire at a seasonal haunted house. While Matilda learns the ropes of scaring people, she grapples with what she's going to do next in her life. Should she pursue an acting career in Los Angeles? But it's scary moving to a whole new city and taking that chance! It's a good thing that for now, all she has to do is focus on surviving the Halloween season. Because someone's stalking and murdering other actors in the haunted house. Can Matilda and her friends find out who it is before it's too late? Plus we sat down with writer/director of "Haunt Season;" Jake Jarvi.
