In this week’s episode, Adam is joined by Stefanie Rusin—a woman whose path is equal parts discipline and introspection. A graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Stefanie holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science, with minors in International Law and Philosophy, along with an associate’s in Criminal Justice. Over the last 15 years, she’s built a career behind the scenes in finance—overseeing operations, compliance, and event strategy across some of the industry’s most demanding environments.

But Stefanie’s story goes beyond job titles.

She’s also a NASM-certified personal trainer, a co-host of the WhyGo Project Podcast, and a thoughtful, observant soul on a mission to make others feel a little less alone. Her approach to life blends pragmatism and emotional intelligence—an intentional walk between structure and surrender.

In this episode, Stefanie opens up about learning to sit with the discomfort of uncertainty, how control once gave her a sense of identity, and how her personal growth journey has shifted her relationship with ambition, boundaries, and belief. This conversation is grounded, insightful, and full of the kind of reflection that stays with you.

🎙️ In this episode, we explore:
1️⃣ Her professional evolution across finance, compliance, and logistics
2️⃣ The roots of her desire for structure—and how that served (and sometimes limited) her
3️⃣ The emotional process of surrender and self-inquiry
4️⃣ Why she started the WhyGo Project Podcast and what drives it
5️⃣ How fitness and self-discipline shaped her internal dialogue
6️⃣ Letting go of the need to be “unshakeable”
7️⃣ Embracing duality: intellect + intuition, logic + empathy
