On SmackDown, AJ Lee made her shocking return, attacking Becky Lynch and setting the stage for a major storyline. John Cena battled Sami Zayn for the U.S. Title, but Brock Lesnar interfered, delivering F5s to both men and ending the match in a no contest. Aleister Black picked up a win over Damian Priest, while Giulia successfully defended her title against Michin.

On Raw, AJ Lee cut her first promo back, returning Becky's belt in exchange for a mixed tag match. Tensions continued to build as LA Knight ambushed The Vision, and later clashed with Jey Uso. AJ Styles had promo time and then defeated El Grande Americano despite outside help from El Otro Americano. Lyra Valkyria fell to Raquel Rodriguez after a distraction from Roxanne Perez, teasing a possible storyline with Bayley. Rusev defeated Penta thanks to a New Day distraction, while Asuka tapped out Nikki Cross with some assistance from Kairi Sane. Bronson Reed scored a victory over LA Knight, and the night closed with Jey Uso spearing Knight.

Looking ahead to Wrestlepalooza, the announced card includes CM Punk and AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar, Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer, and The Usos vs. The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed).
