How do you succeed as a comedian in the digital age? Online marketing is massive for both comics and comedy venues nowadays, for drumming up a following and getting people to attend your shows. Harry Allmark is the founder of The Gaffe Comedy Club in Bristol. An accomplished comedian and improviser, Harry is an Edinburgh Fringe regular and frequent MC. He balances his time managing a comedy club with lively stand-up performances and off-the-wall creative pursuits, making him the perfect host for a comedy podcast about the comedy industry.
About Jacob
Jacob Burley is Head of Studio at The Gaffe Comedy Club. Following a stint in live comedy, Jacob established himself in the media production and broadcast industries. Alongside being an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and presenter, he co-hosts and produces ‘Backstage at The Gaffe’ with longtime collaborator Harry Allmark.
