Tammy Flake graduated high school at 17 and entered the Army at an early age. Served a year in the Iraq war and tells us about her experiences. Even though she loved every bit of it. She faced traumatizing events due to two separate sexual assault events by fellow soldiers. Returning from war and building a family she faces these events and comes out stronger. She now volunteers and HEROES HAVEN, taking fellow veterans through a program that saves lives. We discuss the human and financial costs of Veteran Suicide and what many programs and most importantly people are doing to help stop it. VETERANS you are not alone and there is always help.
