Veterinarians have one of the highest suicide rates of any profession and male vet techs have a suicide rate over 5 times the average. We've got a crisis going on in our veterinary community and we all need to be aware.
Dr. Mallory Preston is a veterinarian practicing in the Houston, TX area and founded the Texas Chapter of Not One More Vet. NOMV is a mental health outreach non-profit specializing in taking care of our veterinarians and their workers.
