Miranda (Halle Berry) is a psychologist at an institution for the criminally insane, she's in the process of treating Chloe (Penelope Cruz) when her life gets turned upside down. One rainy night she comes across a young woman shivering in the road, upon touching her she wakes back at the prison...only now she's a patient and he previous co-worker Pete (Robert Downy Jr.) is telling her it's been three days since the storm and not only that but she's responsible for the brutal murder of her husband!
