This Magic Life is the companion podcast to Bonnie Lippincott’s book This Magic Life (Coming Q2 2026). This is a space for exploring the unseen forces shaping our lives: intuition, creativity, motherhood, work, and the invisible thread that connects every living being.

Originally, I imagined this next chapter as Mid-Level Manager Mom (following Entry Level Mom), with an eventual CEO-Level Mom. But after stepping away from corporate America, the idea of “leveling up” in motherhood no longer fit. This podcast reflects that shift — from titles and ladders to alignment, presence, and living with intention.

Through solo reflections and intimate conversations, This Magic Life invites listeners to reframe success, trust themselves, and recognize the quiet magic woven into everyday life.

  • This Magic Life Episode #153: Pleasure is Power with Meena Bhasin

    https://www.meenabhasin.com/about

In this episode, Bonnie Lippincott sits down with international touring violinist, pleasure activist, and founder of Pleasure as Power, Meena Bhasin, for a deeply honest conversation about motherhood, embodiment, creativity, and why pleasure is far more than a luxury.

Meena Bhasin shares how becoming a mother transformed her understanding of her own power, and how music, movement, and somatic practice became a pathway back to aliveness. Together, Bonnie and Meena unpack the difference between numbing and true pleasure, why women are often trained to disconnect from their bodies, and how sacred rage can become wisdom, protection, and aligned action.

They also explore the pressure women feel to overgive, the myth that self-abandonment is noble, and the radical shift that happens when we start sourcing energy from pleasure instead of depletion. From sensory rituals with children to practical ways of beginning the day with joy, this conversation is both grounding and expansive.

If you’ve ever felt exhausted by the demand to do it all, this episode offers a refreshing reminder: your body is not here just to perform. It’s here to feel, receive, and create from a place of fullness!

  • This Magic Life #151: Maternal Healthcare after Roe V Wade was overturned with Lauren Miller

    *Trigger Warning

In this powerful conversation, Bonnie Lippincott speaks with Lauren Miller of @dontmesswithtexas about what happens when politicians try to control decisions that belong between patients and doctors. Lauren shares her deeply personal story of navigating a twin pregnancy, a devastating fetal diagnosis, and the impossible barriers to receiving timely maternal medical care in Texas.

What unfolds is a candid look at how abortion bans don’t just affect abortion access — they also shape miscarriage care, maternal health, emergency decision-making, and the everyday realities of families trying to survive difficult pregnancies. Lauren explains why “pregnancy is too complicated to legislate,” how a single medical procedure can become a multi-day, cross-state ordeal, and why national protections for reproductive healthcare matter.

This episode also explores the power of speaking up, building community through shared trauma, and refusing to let extremism define the future of a state full of people who want better. Honest, urgent, and deeply human, this is a conversation about bodily autonomy, medical care, and the courage it takes to fight for both.
