The Podcast That Gives Women Permission to Heal

Welcome to Empowered Plates Empowered Lives... the podcast that reminds women they don't have to earn healing, they only have to give themselves permission to begin.

For too long, women have been told that painful periods, chronic fatigue, bloating, heavy bleeding, hormone imbalances, and pelvic pain are simply something they have to live with.

I don't believe that.

I'm Jovonnie, Healthy Habits & Lifestyle Coach, speaker, and creator of the M³ Healing Empowerment Formula™.

After my own healing journey with Stage IV Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, PCOS, and Fibroids, I made it my mission to help women stop accepting pain as normal and start understanding what their bodies have been trying to communicate all along.

Each week you'll hear inspiring conversations with world-class experts and empowering solo episodes that explore the connection between Mindset, Mindful Eating, and Movement because lasting healing isn't built on perfection. It's built through sustainable lifestyle habits that reduce inflammation, restore energy, and help you reconnect with yourself.

If you've ever felt dismissed, overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying everything without lasting results, this podcast is for you.

Because healing isn't about becoming someone new.

It's about remembering the woman you were before survival became your lifestyle.

Together, let's stop pushing through pain and start creating a life that feels vibrant, intentional, and empowered.

  • When Did “I’m Fine” Become Your Automatic Answer? | The Disconnection Pattern
    2026/08/26

You say “I’m fine.” But do you actually know how you’re doing?

When you live with persistent pelvic pain, fatigue, stress, or overwhelm long enough, “fine” can stop meaning I feel good and start meaning this is tolerable enough for me to keep going.

In this solo episode of Empowered Plates, Empowered Lives, Jovonnie explores the Disconnection Pattern what can happen when you get so used to responding to what life needs from you that you stop checking in with what you need from yourself.

We’re talking about ignoring body signals until they get loud, not knowing what to ask for when someone offers help, and the difference between managing yourself through something and actually responding to yourself inside of it.

Try this week's simple shift: when you automatically say “I'm fine,” add one word:

    “…and?”

    I'm fine...and I'm exhausted.

    I'm fine...and I need a minute.

    I'm fine...and I don't know what I need yet.

Because “I'm fine” can end a conversation your body is still trying to have.

Question of the episode: When you say “I'm fine,” what are you usually pushing past?

  • Why Can’t You Let Yourself Rest? | The Push-Through Pattern
    2026/08/19

You know you need to rest, so why do you keep telling yourself, “I’ll rest later”?

In this solo episode of Empowered Plates, Empowered Lives, Jovonnie explores why women living with persistent pelvic pain and exhaustion can become so accustomed to pushing through that rest starts feeling like something they have to earn.

Discover the Push-Through Pattern, the connection between strength, responsibility, identity and self-override, and why being able to keep going doesn’t mean you always have to.

You’ll also learn one simple way to interrupt the pattern in real time: Why later and what is later going to cost me?

Because we often count what pushing through helped us accomplish without counting what it took out of us.

Question of the episode: What does pushing through usually cost you afterward?
