🍂 The leaves are falling, change is happening, and some of us are still standing underneath the tree trying to put the damn leaves back on.

This week, Audra and Abby get into the feels of change—not just what’s happening around us, but everything it stirs up within us.

The reactions that began somewhere in childhood. The emotions we’ve learned to stuff, outrun, distract ourselves from, or swallow instead of allowing them to move through.

And yes…the tears that sometimes need to come with it.

But somewhere between falling leaves and emotional release, the conversation gets bigger.

We wander through the different seasons of becoming—the points throughout life when we find ourselves asking again:

Who am I now?
Who do I want to be?
What still belongs here?
And what the hell am I supposed to do with everything I’ve learned?

Then comes the passing of the torch.

Every generation speaks a slightly different language, shaped by the path carved before them and evolving for whatever comes next.

Our job is to learn not to judge how differently that path is traveled. To honor what our ancestors carried to get us here, pass along the wisdom we've gathered, and then loosen our grip enough for the next generation to take it somewhere we never could.

Wisdom can guide without ego needing to control where or how it goes.

Change is emotional. Growth can be messy.

And sometimes letting go isn't about losing something at all.

Sometimes the leaf has simply finished its season.

Perimenopause has entered the chat…and apparently she brought hot flashes, brain fog, shifting hormones, questionable sleep, body changes, and an entire industry waiting to sell us something for every damn one of them.

Because yes, there is real information to understand. Yes, there are tools that can help. And yes…sometimes you also need to laugh at the sheer absurdity of being sweaty, forgetful, emotional, wide awake at 3 a.m.—and marketed to through the entire experience.
