  • 31# Sound Doctrine Exalts Christ
    2025/05/27
This episode continues the message on sound doctrine with a simple but powerful reminder: when teaching the Word, Christ must remain at the centre.

It explores how Scripture is often quoted out of context—like “honour your father and mother”—without reading the entire passage, which also calls parents, especially fathers, to lead with compassion and restraint. That fuller understanding reflects Christ’s heart.

Sound doctrine isn’t about cherry-picking verses to suit personal preferences. It’s about reading the Word carefully, living it out faithfully, and making sure the message always points to Jesus, not to man, not to emotion, and not to empty promises.

This episode is a call back to the gospel as the apostles preached it—repentance, transformation, and a Saviour who is worthy of worship. If the message does not exalt Christ, something is missing.

May this episode inspire your heart to love the truth, teach it faithfully, and live with Christ as your focus.

We also look at what makes teaching sound and trustworthy, and how culture can sometimes get in the way of the truth. • #27 Trust God. Be considerate. Covid19
    2020/03/15
In times of crisis, God wants us to trust Him.

Before His crucifixion, Jesus prepared his disciples for life after His departure. They were about to experience a severe shock to their psyche. He told them, "Don't let your heart be troubled..." (John 14:1). Amid the current pandemic, He wants us to trust Him, not panic.

We should take all the necessary precautions. Self-isolation doesn't mean a lack of faith. It means you are being considerate.

    Have a blessed week. 😉

Don't forget to listen, subscribe, like and share. 👊🏾😉👍🏾

  • #26 Don’t Shut Down Genuine Questions With, God Said.
    2020/03/08
Usually, people get shutdown with God said this; the Holy Spirit said that. They don't feel they have the space to scrutinise what is said to them. Some believers have even gone as far as getting married based on one party's revelation from the Lord. This is risky.

Asking questions isn't wrong. The early apostles gave us checks and balances to keep us safe. 😉

  • #25 Making a change when truth is unveiled.
    2020/02/26
Would you be willing to go with the truth? Sometimes we let the opinions of others get in the way of God's word. Once He opens your eyes, the Father wants you to walk in the light revealed.

It might be uncomfortable. You might have to walk alone. But go with the Word. God with the Father.

  • #24 Miracles, Signs & Wonders - Be Cautious!
    2020/02/17
Jesus told us to beware of false prophets (Matthew 7:15). It is an issue we seldom like to highlight. But in an atmosphere where many self-proclaimed prophets flourish, we need to heed the words of our Saviour.

We can't afford to be gullible. We must test the source. We must examine those who dish out prophetic words and claim to work miracles (1 John 4:1).
