What if the thing you thought was your biggest failure was actually the beginning of your next chapter?
In this episode of Embodied Truth, I sit down with Shelbi — certified life coach, EFT facilitator and digital course creator — for a conversation about energy, self-belief, manifestation, identity, ego, entrepreneurship and what it really means to create a life that feels good from the inside out.
Shelbi’s embodied truth is simple but powerful: a woman’s energy is her greatest asset.
But she didn’t always believe that.
Her journey began at a time when her confidence and self-worth were at an all-time low. She was struggling in school, partying, questioning her intelligence and wondering what direction her life was even going in. Then one decision changed everything.
She began taking care of her body, changing her habits, surrounding herself with different people and — slowly — something inside her shifted.
She started believing in herself.
That belief took her into entrepreneurship, personal development and a decade of chasing a dream she was convinced would be her ultimate destination.
And for a while, it looked like everything was working.
The business grew. The opportunities came. She experienced financial freedom, massive personal growth and moments where she genuinely believed she had finally made it.
Until it all started to crumble.
And this is where Shelbi’s story gets really interesting.
Because when the thing you have spent years building falls apart, what happens to the identity you built around it?
What happens when the dream you visualized, worked for and sacrificed for… doesn't happen the way you thought it would?
Shelbi opens up about the grief of letting go of a dream, feeling like a failure, losing faith in herself and eventually realizing that perhaps she wasn't meant to keep pushing forward on the same path.
We talk about the difference between pushing and pivoting, the role of ego and validation, why we can sometimes manifest from a place of wanting external proof of our worth, and what happens when we stop looking outside ourselves for the answer.
We also dive into manifestation and what it means to let go of the how — trusting the path, holding certainty and becoming an energetic match for the life you're asking for.
But one of my favourite parts of this conversation is where we bring it all back to something much simpler:
What if you stopped waiting for your life to become better before allowing yourself to enjoy it?
Shelbi shares why she believes you can start romanticizing your life today — with the job you already have, the home you live in, the body you're in and the life that's happening right now.
Because maybe happiness isn't something waiting for you on the other side of your next goal.
Maybe it starts here, right here, right now.
This conversation is honest, vulnerable, sometimes uncomfortable and full of those moments where you might just stop and think, “Huh, that's a very interesting perspective, I haven't thought of.”
If you've ever felt stuck, questioned whether you're on the right path, struggled with self-belief, chased a dream that no longer feels like yours, or wondered whether you're meant for something more…
this episode is for you.
And Shelbi's story might just make you question what you've been calling a failure all along.
Trust your body. Live your truth.
