"When the detective is just as broken as the case, I believe that the lines between justice and chaos start to blur for the detective. The investigation just stops being about cold, hard facts and it becomes deeply personal. Especially if the case is similar to the kind of personal turmoil and the aspects that the detective is going through. "So I've always been curious to know, do these intensive writing retreats, writing workshops or writing master classes really help in consistently improving the craft of writing? And the reason I asked that is because I've been lucky enough to be a part of the Write Club Bangalore, where, you know, since 2014, we've been meeting every single Saturday, every single Saturday, we are given a prompt or, you know, a theme or a genre in which we have to write a short story."
