Welcome to today’s episode, where we reflect on the powerful story of Jesus feeding the five thousand—a miracle born in the middle of grief, compassion, and need. In response, Jesus withdraws to a quiet place to pray, reminding us of the deep need for time alone with God, especially in seasons of sorrow.

But when the crowds follow Him, Jesus does not turn them away. Instead, He has compassion, heals the sick, and challenges His disciples with the words, “You give them something to eat.” With only five loaves and two fish, the disciples discover that what seems impossibly small in human hands becomes more than enough when placed in the hands of Christ.

This message invites us to consider the difference between guilt and true repentance, the courage of faithful obedience like John the Baptist, and the call to trust God with our limited resources. It reminds us that God equips those He calls, provides in unexpected ways, and often asks us to participate in meeting the needs around us.
