1. Jesus is at the center. His victory over the grave is written into every line. Between old and new, between death and life, there stands one historical reality – the resurrection of Jesus.
2. Because the resurrection of Jesus happened, resurrection is happening, and resurrection will happen for all those who trust in Jesus.
3. Revelation is God’s gift that leads to Resurrection.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for revealing to me the good news of your resurrection. Thank you for convicting me of my sin and my need for a Savior. Jesus, I trust in your life, death and resurrection. I receive your grace to forgive me and make me new. I trust you are resurrecting me here and now until I receive the inheritance kept in heaven for me. Fill me with power and joy as I follow you each day. Amen.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
