  • I’m Back: Stories, Books, and a New Chapter
    2026/07/27

Hello, everyone, and welcome to Everi Moment Musings.

I’m Averi Jaye, and I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’ve listened before, welcome back. And if this is your first episode, welcome to this little corner of imagination.

    [Brief pause]

Returning listeners may have noticed that the chapter-by-chapter episodes are no longer available in the public feed. I want to explain why.

When Everi Moment Musings began, the podcast focused largely on readings from my books. Since then, those stories have also become professionally produced audiobooks distributed through Audible.

After reviewing the agreements connected to those audiobooks, I realized that keeping full chapter readings on the podcast did not fit with the exclusive distribution terms for the audio editions.

So I made the decision to unpublish the earlier chapter episodes.

I did not make that decision lightly. Those episodes took time, care, and a lot of heart to create, and I know some of you listened to them and followed the stories one chapter at a time.

But respecting the agreements behind my audiobooks—and the work that went into producing them—matters to me. Removing the chapter episodes from the public feed was the responsible choice.

    [Pause]

The stories themselves have not disappeared.

They are still available as complete audiobooks through Audible, and I’ll tell you how to find them before the end of this episode.

This change also gave me a chance to think about what Everi Moment Musings can become next.

The podcast may have begun with Everi, but my writing has grown beyond one series. I want this show to have room for every book, every world, and every character I create.

Going forward, Everi Moment Musings will be a place for conversations about my books in general—not only the Everi stories.

You can expect writing updates, behind-the-scenes looks at the creative process, worldbuilding, character spotlights, book news, new releases, and conversations about what it is really like to build a story from the first idea to the finished book.

I may also share occasional short readings or special features when I’m able to do so.

Most of all, I want this podcast to be a place where readers and stories find each other.

    [Warmly]

    Every book needs a reader.

A story can begin in an author’s imagination, but it truly comes alive when someone opens the book, enters the world, and carries part of it away with them.

That is what I hope we can do here: talk about the worlds behind the pages, celebrate the people who live inside them, and share the strange, wonderful process of bringing a story to life.

Thank you to everyone who listened before the break. Thank you for understanding why the earlier episodes had to come down. And thank you for joining me as this podcast begins a new chapter.

    [Brief pause]

If you would like to hear the complete audio editions of my books, visit Audible and search for Averi Jaye. I’ll also include direct links to the audiobooks in this episode’s description so you can continue listening there.

I’m Averi Jaye, and this is Everi Moment Musings.

Until next time, keep imagining—and remember: every book needs a reader.
