CHAMPUS is the acronym for Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed Services. In July of 1974, a hearing was held by the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations of the Committee on Government Operations. Anyone who has worked or been involved with the federal government can imagine how much more easily this could be said! In short, the US SENATE investigated George von Hilsheimer and Green Valley. He'd been getting students/patients through this program for several years and received several million dollars. Investigations and a raid had finally led up to this hearing.
