Welcome to The Woodshed. This is a place where people find the promise in their pain, strength in their suffering and hope in the healing. I spoke with a friend I've known since the 80s, Carrie Cassell. Carrie leads an organization called Mosaic Connection that supports parents and caregivers with neurodivergent children. She also shared her difficult battle with addiction from an eating disorder. The decision was clear. Keep it all in the recording. Listen to Part 1 and 2 of Carrie's Story from the Woodshed now.

Carrie created Mosaic Connection for parents to collectively find a community to remove their isolation and shame.  She also provides resources for their child to remove the confusion of what to do. Mosaic believes parents will become more whole by connecting with themself by acknowledging and working through what is stirring within.

Imagine a tree cut down in the woods left in pieces. It is impossible for it to ever go back to being what it once was. It's a mess. Now imagine someone coming along and collecting all of those pieces and covering them in a woodshed. These same pieces have a bold purpose to bring light to darkness. This is the picture of life. This is the way to live. There is a bold purpose to the pieces of your life.

Our mission is about helping people find a bold purpose in the broken pieces of their lives by sharing stories that shape perspective, pass wisdom, and encourage souls. This is Stories from the Woodshed.

There is a bold purpose in the pieces of your life. @woodshed.live
