Holding onto grudges has significant negative impacts on our lives, from draining our energy to taking our focus away from the positive things that are meant for us. It keeps us in a perpetual state of anger, resentment, fear and bitterness, which ultimately prevents us from living a fulfilling and peaceful life.
In this week’s episode, we talk about why it’s so important to let go of grudges and the positive impact that decision has on our mental and physical health. We also cover why it’s important to understand what’s driving our grudges so we can start taking steps toward emotional freedom and personal growth.
In this episode, we talk about:
- Why it's so important to release grudges
- How to protect your inner peace
- The difference between holding someone accountable and holding a grudge
- Acknowledging our feelings when someone’s wronged us - and what to do with them once we’ve identified what they are
- Practicing forgiveness (This may not mean what you think it does)
- Setting boundaries
- Turning our attention away from the grudge and onto our own personal growth
Tune in to this episode to learn how to free yourself from the burden of grudges and embrace a more fulfilling life. Your peace of mind is worth the effort — and so are all of the good things that will suddenly come into focus when you turn YOUR focus away from the grudges that are holding you back.
