Marco Fedi, scopriremo come la comunità italiana, nella sua dinamicità, abbia un’attenzione particolare per le nuove generazioni. “Il passato è prologo”, una citazione tratta da La Tempesta di Shakespeare, ricorda infatti come il passato non sia altro che il preludio di una storia presente, viva, capace di raccontarsi, reinventarsi e riscoprirsi.Ne abbiamo parlato con la nostra ospite di turno, Mariella De Paolis, ideatrice e coordinatrice del programma "Girotondo" del CO.AS.IT.: un percorso di lingua italiana per bambini in età prescolare (3-5 anni). Sviluppato secondo il Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, il programma incoraggia i piccoli a scoprire la lingua attraverso il gioco, l’esplorazione e il problem solving, in un ambiente dinamico e stimolante. Oltre all’apprendimento linguistico, Girotondo apre le porte alla cultura italiana: i bambini partecipano a laboratori di cucina, sperimentando la gioia del cibo italiano, e celebrano le principali feste tradizionali, immergendosi così nelle usanze e nelle tradizioni che rendono unica l’Italia.Inoltre, ascolteremo un'intervista esclusiva con Angela Viora, educatrice, studiosa e artista performativa italiana residente a Naarm/Melbourne, che con il suo lavoro unisce studi sulle Performance Arts, la lingua Italiana e l'educazione, con particolare attenzione alle relazioni corpo-luogo, alla migrazione, all’identità e alla lingua, e al senso di appartenenza. CEO Marco Fedi, we explore how the Italian community, in all its dynamism, pays special attention to younger generations. “What’s past is prologue”, a quote from Shakespeare’s The Tempest, reminds us that the past is nothing more than the prelude to a living present—one that knows how to tell its story, reinvent itself, and rediscover its identity.We spoke with our guest, Mariella De Paolis, creator and coordinator of the CO.AS.IT. Girotondo program: an Italian language course for preschool children (ages 3–5). Developed in line with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, the program encourages children to explore the language through play, discovery, and problem solving, in a dynamic and stimulating environment. Beyond language learning, Girotondo also opens the doors to Italian culture: children take part in cooking workshops, experiencing the joy of Italian food, and celebrate traditional festivals, immersing themselves in the customs and traditions that make Italy unique.We will also hear an exclusive interview with Angela Viora, an Italian educator, scholar, and performance artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. Her work bridges Performance Arts, Italian language, and Education, with a focus on body–place relationships, migration, identity, language, and belonging.
