このコンテンツについて
It's our 50th episode! Come for the usual segments, stay for the confidence pep talk in embracing your cringe! The episode opens with catch ups on feeling seen on Reddit, tummy time as a way to reduce tech neck, a reminder not to wait for a “fancier” or more "formal" moment to wear that outfit or accessory this summer, husband energy and more.
This week's Normal or Neurotic Nadya story is about her late-night chase and attempt at rescuing a lost dog on the streets.
Then, they discuss how creating this podcast was a leap of faith in willing to be cringe at first and follow through with their ideas. They talk about how learning to embrace your cringe builds confidence, how it's a stepping stool to success and how the fear of cringe blocks us from success. Embarrassment unites us more than we think and it’s an understated emotion that could use more of our curiosity. They also talk about how to stop caring about what people think, testing ourselves, our relationships with sharing personal and professional highlights on social media.
The episode ends with Marie's Munchies on Balthazar- an NYC institution. Come for the food, stay for the vibes. If you know, you know. And if you don't, it's about time you know!
Thanks for talking!
