  • F1 Miami GP: "Shall I let him past too?"
    2025/05/06

Nathan’s back and so is Oscar Piastri — with a third straight win in a chaotic Miami Sprint weekend!
The boys break down the battle brewing between McLaren teammates Piastri and Norris, analysing the key factors that could decide who comes out on top. They unpack Ferrari’s confusing strategy and debate whether a lack of leadership is the true Achilles’ heel for the Scuderia. There's discussion on Alex Albon’s controversial sprint penalty (a real 'yoke') and celebration of his standout weekend. James defends his man George Russell, as always, and the crew talks through Jack Doohan’s likely exit from F1. Plus, a look back at Mark Webber’s pivotal role in Piastri’s move to McLaren — and how things might’ve played out at Alpine. All that and more in a packed Miami GP recap!

    2025/04/21

For the first time ever, Nathan misses the pod — but James and Taylor are here to break down all things F1 after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix!
Before diving into the race, the guys have a serious chat about Lando Norris and the signs of potential depression, exploring what expectations we place on elite athletes dealing with mental health struggles. Then it's back to the track: they dissect Lewis Hamilton’s pace issues and what it means for his status at Ferrari. The turn one clash between eventual winner Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen sparks debate — along with Red Bull’s refusal to take accountability. Plus, a few classic Lance Stroll jabs to top it all off and the guys ponder if they should ever let Nathan back?!

  • F1 Japanese GP: "Nothing happened"
    2025/04/06

James checks in live from trackside in Suzuka to break down the full Japanese experience—including a shambolic hotel journey and a race that, well… wasn’t exactly a thriller.

The boys unpack Max Verstappen’s win, discuss how McLaren disappointed, and debate if this was normal service resuming or just a blip. We also look at why there’s reason to believe McLaren could bounce back soon.

We hand out a report card on Yuki Tsunoda’s debut in the Senior Red Bull seat, dive into Ferrari’s rear-end issues, and shine a spotlight on two standout rookies who impressed this weekend.

Also on the agenda: the strange Crofty–Jacques Villeneuve dynamic in the commentary box, some unexpected pearls of wisdom, and a well-earned bald patch shoutout.

We wrap things up with an update on the next few weeks as all three hosts scatter across different time zones.

All that and more in this week’s episode from Japan! 🏁

  • F1: Lawson and Disorder
    2025/03/30

James checks in live from Japan as we break down the chaos at Red Bull and the latest news—Liam Lawson has been demoted, making way for Yuki Tsunoda’s promotion ahead of his home race.

We analyse the lap times that sealed Lawson’s fate, debate how much of this comes down to car performance, and ask the big questions: Who’s really to blame at Red Bull? Should heads roll? What can Yuki actually get out of this car? And were we too harsh on Checo, given the ongoing number two driver struggles at Red Bull?

Plus, James gives us a preview of his Japanese GP weekend, talks more merch rumors, and Nathan shares a Rasheed Wallace story to help Liam Lawson feel a little better.

All that and more in this week’s episode!

  • F1 Chinese GP: "I'm Liam LASTon, I'm Liam LASTon"
    2025/03/24

The boys are back to break down all the action from the Chinese Grand Prix! From Lewis Hamilton’s first Ferrari win in the Sprint to Oscar Piastri taking victory in the main race, we cover it all—but the real drama was further down the grid.

We dive into Liam Lawson’s nightmare weekend, question what’s next for Red Bull, and have no choice but to applaud Ted Kravitz’s top-tier trackside journalism. Plus, we unpack Ferrari’s disqualification and pay tribute to the late, great Eddie Jordan. We reserve our rage for the insufferable Helmut Marko, who continues to kick own goals.

But that’s not all! We also share some hilarious race-watching stories—from catching the action in an airport to listening to Japanese commentary—and call out James for flogging Mercedes merch in direct violation of our one sacred rule: no free ads. Oh, and don’t miss his recap of his good wife’s holiday fails!

All that and more as we break down the Sprint weekend in China!

  • F1: The 2025 Great Track Auction
    2025/03/10

In our final preview episode before the F1 season roars to life in Australia, the boys bring back one of their favorite gimmicks—an F1 race auction! This year, we’re predicting the 2025 calendar by bidding on races, assembling our ultimate portfolios, and battling to see who ends up with the best set of eight races by season’s end.

Here’s how it works: Each of the three hosts gets $8 million (definitely not real) dollars to bid on the 24 races. Every host must finish with eight tracks, and by the end of the season, we’ll find out whose selection delivered the most drama, excitement, and unforgettable moments.

Which races will command top dollar? Will Monza deliver a Lewis Hamilton victory? Will the British Grand Prix live up to its legendary status? Are the new Monaco rules worth the hype? And, of course, someone has to end up with duds like Saudi Arabia and Qatar!

Let the bidding wars begin—it’s the Great F1 Auction of 2025!
