Meet the guest: Dr. Taina Lopes holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Animal Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil, with a veterinary degree focused on avian pathology and poultry production. Now a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pathobiology at Auburn University, her research centers on immune response modulation, viral shedding, and bioinformatics in poultry.
