  • Data In Implant dentistry with Herbert Polzhofer, PhD
    2025/05/09

    Send us a text

In this episode, I had an insightful conversation with Herbert about the vital role of data in implant dentistry. We discussed how data not only helps safeguard our work but also enables us to accurately measure treatment outcomes—ultimately benefiting the patients we care for.

We also explored the power of collective data shared by clinicians, which supports researchers in evaluating the success, longevity, and effectiveness of various implant systems.

Data is the new gold in dentistry, and it's time we approach it with the same rigor seen in other areas of healthcare. Our patients have a right to know how successful our treatments are—just as they do in medicine.

Dentistry is an integral part of the global healthcare system, and we must fully engage with it. The only way to overcome intuitive bias in our field is through the consistent and thoughtful use of data.

Cheers, and I hope you enjoy this thought-provoking episode with Herbert.
