  • Good News, Great Joy
    2025/12/22

This week on the Don’t You Worry Podcast, Briley & Britton take one short verse from the Christmas story and let it preach: Luke 2:10“Fear not… for behold, I bring you good news of great joy… for all the people.” And somehow that one verse manages to call out our whole holiday hustle.

Using a simple Bible study tool they’ve been loving—scripture journaling from Fighting With Fear by Kate Downing—they slow the verse down word-by-word and uncover what we miss when we rush:

    • “Fear not” isn’t a cute phrase—it’s a real invitation to trust God’s presence.
    • “Behold” means fix your attention (yes, even in the middle of parties, finals, and a Christmas calendar that’s on fire).
    • “Good news” is too good to keep quiet—real salvation overflows into real storytelling.
    • “Great joy” isn’t just holiday happy… it’s deep, intense, can’t-hold-it-in joy—even when Christmas feels complicated.
    • And “for all the people” means nobody is outside the_attach-this-to-your-life-right-now_ gospel.

This episode is part laugh, part Christmas vibe, and part holy wake-up call: don’t let Jesus be one of your things this season—make Him the center. Fear Him above everything. Fix your eyes on Him. Share the good news. And receive the gift that was always meant for you.

    Merry Christmas—and seriously… don’t you worry.

    It’s officially a wrap. ☀️

In this feel-good, laugh-a-lot, reflect-a-little episode, Briley and Britton look back on everything 2025 brought their way—from travel days and school semesters survived, to podcast milestones they never imagined.

They play a hilarious “2025 Wrapped” game (including their most embarrassing ChatGPT questions), recap Spotify Wrapped surprises, celebrate two merch drops, and relive favorite podcast moments—from meaningful interviews to spontaneous beach-camp conversations that somehow turned into full episodes.

But this recap isn’t just funny—it’s honest. They talk about big wins, real fears, friendships that deepened, faith that grew, milestones reached, roller-coaster fears conquered (literally), and the reminder that the best moments often happen when you’re fully present.

  • Gratitude Beats Anxiety
    2025/11/24

It’s Thanksgiving week, the Worry Expires hoodies are almost gone 👀, and Briley & Britton are pulling up to the table with something deeper than pumpkin pie: how gratitude can actually fight your anxiety.

In this vulnerable, hope-filled episode, the sisters look back on some of their hardest seasons—midnight anxiety spirals, moving to a new town, grief after losing their grandfather, scary health struggles—and trace how God was quietly writing gratitude into the story the whole time.

Rooted in Philippians 4:6 (“…with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God”), they talk about how thankfulness isn’t fake positivity or pretending everything’s fine. It’s learning to notice God’s goodness in the middle of what hurts.

    In this episode you’ll hear:

    • Briley’s 2021 anxiety season and how journaling could’ve changed the script
    • The story of moving, youth group, and finding a place to belong
    • Sweet, hilarious memories with their grandfather that now feel like treasures
    • Why focusing on God’s glory naturally grows gladness and gratitude
    • Simple, practical ways to shift from spiraling to thankful (even on the hard days)

They wrap up with a gentle challenge: take a few intentional minutes to pray, journal a gratitude list, or write out a thankful prayer—and watch how it changes your heart’s perspective.

Oh, and don’t forget: 🧡 WORRY EXPIRES MERCH pre-orders close December 1. Limited run, ships before Christmas. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Hit play, take a breath, and let gratitude beat back the worry.
