  • Ep4: "Feeding the 5,000"
    2025/04/07

Episode 4: "Feeding the 5,000" – God’s Provision When We Feel Empty 🐟🍞

Have you ever felt like you don’t have enough? Not enough strength, time, faith, or resources?

In this episode of Dishing With Disher, we’re looking at one of the most powerful stories of God’s provision—when Jesus fed over 5,000 people with just five loaves and two fish. If you’ve ever felt stretched too thin, this episode is for you!

🍞 How Jesus turned a small offering into a miraculous feast.📖 Why the disciples saw lack, but Jesus saw abundance.🙌 What this story teaches us about trusting God’s provision in our daily lives.💭 A personal reflection on seeing God’s provision in unexpected ways.

📖 John 6:11-13 – "Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. When they had all had enough to eat, He said to His disciples, ‘Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.’ So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten."

When you feel empty or like you have nothing left to give, bring what you do have to Jesus. He is a God of abundance, and in His hands, what seems small becomes more than enough.

Take a moment to reflect on an area in your life where you feel like you don’t have enough. Bring it to God in prayer and trust that He can multiply what you have.
