A FEW MONTHS AGO SOMETIME IN LATE MARCH, AS ASSOCIATE PITCHED ME THE IDEA OF THE POSSIBLITY OF SHOWCASING MY NEW SHOW IS A SHORT MODIFYED SEGMENT APPEARING IN THE MIDDLE OF GIMME GIMME DISCO'S EVENINGS.

OF COURSE I AGREED AND KEEPING AN

OPEN MIND, EVERYTHING WITH ME IS ABOUT "BEING AT THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME."

THE FOUNDING PARTNERS JUMPED AT THE IDEA OF A BONIFIDE DISCO LEGEND APPEARING AT SEVERAL OF HIGH DRIVEN DJ BASE DANCE PARTIES AROUND THE NEW JERSEY AND TRI-STATE AREA, OF HIGH ENERGY DISCO LOVERS OF PEOPLE WHO WERE NOT BORN DURING THE DISCO ERA.

THE DANCE SCREAM CRY AND SING THEIR FAVORITE ABBA HITS, MAN DISCO HITS FROM THE 70'S & 80'S LIKE THE BEE GEES, DONNA SUMMER, VILLAGE PEOPLE, CHER WEARING DISCO ATTIRE.

ONCE ALL THE DETAILS WERE HAMMERED OUT ON A SECURE CHAIN OF EMAILS, THE FOUNDING MEMEBERS ETHAN MACCOBY AND ALEX BADANES CURATED MY APPERANCES USING SAVING ONLINE PROMOTION WELL ORGANIZED PRESENTED IN THE HIGHEST CALIBRE. IN ESSENCE THEY TREATED ME LIKE ROYALTY...HELPING YMCA HIT #1 ON THE BILLBOARD CHARTS ALONG WITH THE 45TH PRESIDENTS HELP AS WELL.

IN THE HALF DOZEN SHOWS NO EVENING HAD LESS THAT 800 IN ATTENDANCE. THEY HONORED ME WITH MY FIRST PAID APPEARANCE AT THE HOUSE OF INDEPENDENCE IN MY OWN HOME TOWN.

Artie has and is working with such greats as The Village People, Neyobe, Coro, Lydia Lee Love, Johnny O, E’Dee, Alex Of Latin Nation, Chrissy I-eece, Fascination, George La Mond, & More, Tonasia, Judy Torres, Jaide, Aby of TKA, Legit of FFWD, Vizion, Tara, Nesi, Rio Lopez, Diamante and many many more.
Artie’s hit “NOW THAT IT’S OVER” on EX-IT Records has burned up record pool charts across the country, including Paris, Brazil and Canada. His hit single was on rotation in California, Chicago and Canada. It has been played on Mega 97.9 New York, 103.5 KTU New York, B96 in Chicago. “NOW THAT IT’S OVER” Finished no. 28 on the top 40 list of DMA magazine.
Artie’s Hit single “I believed” with backgrounds vocals by Pastor Johnny O. has slamed the charts. With four mixes that rocked clubs and kept his fans happy as usual. “I Believed” got steady rotation in Canada, Connecticut, Detroit, California, Chicago, El Paso Texas, Germany, Paris and Mexico.
Artie has released his first album on Micmac Records called Latin Hiphop: Artie & Friends Back to Basics. With many of his friends such as Chrissy I-eece, Judy Torres, Tonasia, &More, Legit of FFWD, Aby of TKA, Rio Lopez and The Village People (Alex Briley, Felipe Rose, Jeff Olson and Ray Simpson). The album is stirring up quite a rumble in the industry.
Micmac has recently released Artie and Chrissys’ first 12” single “Secret Lovers”. The song has gone on to shake charts all over the country. “Secret Lovers” has been number 2 on DMAs’ Top 15 Freestyle charts, hot pick of the month in December 1998, and was no. 24 on the Latin Charts of the same magazine. The DJ friendly mixes are rockin the dance floors from New York to Canada, and is one of Arties’ best works to date. Another song that is kicking off from the album is “Sinful Eyes” a duet with Aby of TKA now being played steady on 105.9 FM Latino Mix in New York.
Artie’s single “You are my everything” is on Artistik Records. The single has already generated radio play from Stations in New York and Q 93.1 in Detroit. The song marks the first time collaboration with the Tazmania recording artist Sonia Rodriguez and is sure to make alot more noise.
His new single “So This Is Love” from the fourthcoming album 60 debut at number 12 on iTunes and is on rotation on many radio and web station. Artie’s Album will be released this year and is heavly anticipated. His fan base has grown through the years and they are happy to hear his new endeavour.

In 1971, aged 16, Siano got his first DJing gig at The Roundtable. In February 1973, aged 17, he opened The Gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan with his older brother Joe Siano. New York Magazine called it "one of the five most visually breathtaking nightspots of our time".

The Gallery was, alongside David Mancuso's Loft and Paradise Garage one of the three most important clubs in New Yorks's 1970s underground disco scene. Both Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles worked there before starting DJing. Knuckles said that he and Levan "spent a lot of the time hanging out in the booth, watching Nicki’s every move. He pretty much taught us what we were doing."

When Steve Rubell opened Studio 54, he asked Siano to be one of its resident DJs, to which he agreed, while remaining at The Gallery at weekends.

Siano DJed at Bianca Jagger's infamous Studio 54 birthday party, and was playing as Bianca Jagger entered on a white horse. He was known for playing underground alternative music as opposed to the disco hits that were dominating the nightclub scene.

Siano dropped out of the scene around the start of the 1980s. He recounted to the Sydney Morning Herald that in 1982, he became sober, his best friend died of AIDS, and he "wound up in a 15-year career helping people with AIDS."

Siano continued to tour and produce. His release Power of Love, featuring Arline Burton, was launched at the 2007 Winter Music Conference. Siano also released a film documenting the Gallery nightclub, with footage shot in the club during the 1970s.

On October 18, 2011, Siano reappeared at Studio 54 for the club's one-night reopening, organized by Sirius XM Radio. He played all 1970s disco from the club's original days. THE BOOK ABOUT THE 1970's CLUB SCENE FROM SOMEONE WHO WAS THERE!

Dj Mtraxxx and I go back decades, ever since he attended his first Village People concert, we instantly became friends, and the relationship grew from there As brothers in this thing called MUSIC!

Dj Mtraxxx 's government name is Manny Cuevas is a Puerto Rican dj from MIAMI, FLORIDA His love for DISCO/HOUSE and ACID HOUSE is out of this world.

He has his own mix show called - LEATHER DISCO, we'll ask him more about that later!

He plays internationally and has remixed a handful of songs too many to mention. I knew eventually the day would arrive when we ended up working together on a remix for a song I was releasing during the huge

court battle and litigation fight with the original ex lead singer and the one that replaced him, but this is is not about that!

I don't dwell in negativity or scandal or drama, or look into the rear view mirror it's not my style - instead I broke away from that mess and popped back into the recording studio to record a remake version of the old Disco Classic "GOING BACK TO MY ROOTS" by ODDESSY letting my fanbase know that I was going to be alright Okay! THUS the title of the song! In fact there were four versions of the song, The late Ritchie Haven who wrote it and recorded it then in 1981 Oddessy recorded it after their Giant Disco Hit - "NATIVE NEW YORKER" followed by

Rupaul's recording it in 1993, then yours truly in 2018! Each version had a special meaning to the artist that recorded it and for their fans.

Going Back to My Roots was released & the Native American Music Awards embraced it and nominated and won for Best Dance Single of 2018 at the Nammys,

Dj Traxxx and the Werkin Brothers brilliant remix of that song ended up on more that 50 mix shows around the world. Please sit back and listen to my conversation today with DJ MTRAXXX.
