Manchester United have dropped more points in the Premier League after a frustrating 1-1 draw against Leeds United at Elland Road, and the pressure on Michael Carrick is only getting greater.

Another disappointing result, another opportunity missed and another performance that raises serious questions about whether Carrick is the right man to take Manchester United forward.

In this Manchester United vs Leeds United post-match reaction, I'm breaking down the biggest problems from the game, Carrick's increasingly cautious approach and why his reluctance to take risks could ultimately cost him his job.

For a manager who arrived with an opportunity to establish his own identity at Old Trafford, Carrick has become increasingly difficult to understand. United have talented attacking players, exciting young prospects and individuals capable of changing games, yet the team continues to struggle to impose itself on opponents.

The biggest frustration is Carrick's apparent unwillingness to be brave.

Whether it's his starting XI, substitutions, tactical adjustments or the balance between attack and defence, Manchester United seem more concerned with avoiding defeat than finding ways to win football matches.

And that's simply not good enough.

With Carlos Baleba, Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha and Amad Diallo among the options available, there should be greater ambition in United's approach. Instead, familiar problems continue to surface, particularly when the team needs someone to take responsibility and change the direction of a game.

Following the Champions League defeat against Atletico Madrid, this latest setback only adds to the growing concerns surrounding Carrick's management.

Of course, Manchester United's problems extend far beyond one manager. INEOS, Jason Wilcox and the wider hierarchy must take responsibility for the direction of the football club.

But Michael Carrick is ultimately responsible for what happens on the pitch.

Has his cautious approach become Manchester United's biggest obstacle? Is he failing to get the best out of his squad? And are we approaching the point where the writing is on the wall for his future at Old Trafford?

Lisandro Martinez has sparked fresh controversy at Manchester United following his recent comments about the club's hierarchy, with his ongoing tensions involving Director of Football Jason Wilcox raising serious questions about what's happening behind the scenes at Old Trafford.

After another disappointing result against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, the last thing Michael Carrick needs is further uncertainty surrounding his squad. But Martinez's public comments have brought the relationship between Manchester United's players and the people making decisions above them back into the spotlight.

In this video, I'm examining the growing tension surrounding Lisandro Martinez, his apparent frustrations with the Manchester United board and what his reported disagreement with Jason Wilcox could tell us about the wider problems at the club.

Wilcox has become one of the most influential figures in Manchester United's football operation, overseeing the club's sporting direction, recruitment strategy and long-term planning. But with questions already surrounding United's performances, squad construction and tactical identity, his relationship with senior players deserves closer scrutiny.

Martinez, meanwhile, has been one of United's most outspoken personalities since arriving from Ajax. His passion, leadership and willingness to speak his mind have made him a significant presence at Old Trafford, but there's a difference between holding people accountable and allowing disagreements to become another distraction.

So what exactly has caused this apparent breakdown in relations? Are Martinez's frustrations justified? Is Jason Wilcox making the right decisions for Manchester United? And what responsibility does the wider hierarchy have for ensuring everyone at the club is working towards the same objectives?

Manchester United cannot build a successful football operation without trust, communication and accountability.

And those standards must apply to everyone — from the dressing room to the boardroom.

Man United's Biggest Problem Strikes Again in 2-0 Loss v Atletico Madrid in the Champions League

Manchester United have suffered another disappointing defeat, losing 2-0 to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League — and once again, the same familiar problems have come back to haunt Michael Carrick's side.

After a frustrating 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, United travelled to Madrid hoping to deliver a statement performance against Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid. Instead, another disappointing result has raised serious questions about the direction of this Manchester United team.

In this Manchester United vs Atletico Madrid post-match reaction, I'm breaking down why United continue to struggle against organised opposition, the recurring tactical issues under Michael Carrick and what needs to change before the season slips further away.

The biggest concern isn't necessarily the quality of individual players. It's how they're being used.

From the balance of the midfield to players operating outside their most effective positions, United continue to look like a team searching for a clear identity. Carlos Baleba offers athleticism, physicality and ball-winning ability, but Carrick must find the right combination alongside Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes to give United genuine control in midfield.

Further forward, questions remain about how to get the best out of Matheus Cunha and Amad, particularly against disciplined defensive structures like Atletico Madrid's.

And defensively, United must become far more difficult to break down if they're serious about competing at Champions League level.

One defeat away to Atletico Madrid isn't a disaster in isolation. But when the same problems keep appearing, it becomes increasingly difficult to dismiss them as individual bad performances.

Michael Carrick has some big decisions to make.
