Is this a sitzkieg?” - Referring to a period after Germany invaded poland and the UK declared war to start WWII, but there were no allied operations in europe.     • Salic Descent - the idea that you can inherit rule from a woman’s side, which is how Aral is technically able to become emperor
    • Saturnine - A sour expression, also a word LMB loves and is honestly pretty great
    • Pith - To kill an animal by piercing or severing the spinal cord
    • Gavotte - A dance
    • Hagridden - To be harassed or tormented
    • Stygian - Of the river Styx. Very dark, gloomy, or forbidding
    • Batman - “an orderly of a British military officer.”
