Every single week, Deal or No Deal Island Season 1 contestant Stephanie Mitchell joins the Jack Vita Show to recap the week's episode of Deal or No Deal Island! This week, Stephanie and Jack break down the eighth episode of Deal or No Deal Island, S2 E8, "Safety in Numbers".

This week's episode saw La Shell Wooten's game come to an end. La Shell and Dickson were forced into the bottom, with David and Parvati once again earning safety. Parvati gained safety for the eighth straight week. She has yet to be eligible for elimination. Parvati was forced to choose between two of her alliance members, when it came to selecting an opponent for the banker. After mulling her options, Parvati called La Shell's name at temple.

La Shell was offered $1.558 million, in a deal that gave her a one in three shot at safety. La Shell accepted the deal, and moments later, discovered that her case held $1.75 million. Unfortunately for the North Carolina native, her time on the Banker's Island came to an end.
