  • The Campervan Stole My Bed Frame
    2026/07/28

    Flick me a msg

This week I'm chatting about wrapping up podcast season, saying goodbye to my favourite gym after 558 visits, random Marketplace adventures (including a mystery campervan collecting my free bed frame), and my latest "ick" - people who confidently make up prices with absolutely no evidence.

I also answer some of your Spotify questions about what's next for Dani, why turning 40 has shifted my priorities, and why the older I get, the smaller - but stronger - my circle becomes.

It's a bit of a life update, a bit of a laugh, and a reminder that sometimes the biggest glow-up isn't changing your life... it's slowing down enough to actually enjoy it.

  • Only five episodes until we connect the final dot 🔴
    2026/07/21

    Flick me a msg

When I started Dani Dot, I thought I was simply documenting my life. Turns out, I was documenting my growth.

In this episode, I’m reflecting on the wild ride of four seasons of stories, lessons, laughs, heartbreaks, friendships, adventures, questionable decisions, unexpected plot twists, and all the little moments that shaped me along the way.

From the episodes I can barely remember, the intro music I definitely should have changed sooner 😂, friendships that came and went, moments where I cried into a microphone, lessons I learnt the hard way, and the stories that I now look back on with a completely different perspective.

This podcast has been my little corner of the world where I could show up exactly as I was - messy, curious, honest and figuring things out.

With only five episodes left until episode 100, this is the beginning of a countdown. A chance to connect the dots, celebrate the journey, and look back at the moments that made Dani Dot what it is today.

  • Side Quests Are My Personality
    2026/07/14

    Flick me a msg

This week we're covering everything from emotional plot twists to bargain boot victories, and why a trip to Bunnings somehow resulted in packing advice from the gardening aisle.

There's moving chaos, travel daydreams about the "Hawaii of China," and a chance conversation with a stranger that reminded me how funny life can be when you're open to it.

I'm also diving headfirst into a new creative hobby by giving my wardrobe a second life instead of buying more clothes... and yes, we absolutely need to discuss the heroic effort that went into finding replacement underwear after my favourite pairs were discontinued (ChatGPT and a builder's tape measure deserve an award).

  • Why I'm Dressing Like My Venus Sign
    2026/07/07

    Flick me a msg

It's been a month since I got home, and life has been anything but quiet.

I'm sharing what I've been binge-watching (including some absolute reality TV chaos), the highs and lows of packing up a house, catching up with friends and family, and finding my rhythm again after travelling. I'm also diving into the astrology trend that's changing the way I shop and dress-styling yourself according to your Venus sign and why embracing my Taurus Venus feels more authentic than following every fashion trend.

Plus, I'm officially starting the countdown to 40 with bucket-list plans, milestone birthday memories, and everything I'm manifesting for the next decade.

  • The One Where the Hotel Tried to Kill Me
    2026/06/30

    Flick me a msg

The final chapter of my Asia adventure is here... and what a way to finish.

From sipping margaritas with my bestie while trying to process everything this trip has thrown at me, to discovering my hotel room came with an unexpected bonus feature: black mould. Because apparently character-building wasn't finished with me yet.

This episode is part travel diary, part comedy, and part reminder that the best adventures are never the ones that go to plan. We chat about the highs, the questionable accommodation choices, the laughs that only happen when things go spectacularly wrong, and the lessons that solo travel quietly teaches you along the way.

If you've ever wanted to travel but worried about doing it alone, consider this your sign. You'll come home with stories, confidence, a few unexpected plot twists, and maybe... just maybe... a newfound appreciation for reading hotel reviews.

Grab your favourite drink and join me for one last adventure as I wrap up the wild, hilarious and unforgettable journey across Asia.

  • The Phuket Episode That Went Off The Rails
    2026/06/23

    Flick me a msg

After falling in love with Koh Samui, I boarded a short flight to Phuket with absolutely no expectations-other than a long list of warnings from people telling me to avoid it.

What followed was one of the most chaotic, hilarious, and unexpected chapters of my Thailand adventure.

From navigating Patong Beach on a $4 bus, checking into a stunning 5-star hotel on the 24th floor, sipping rooftop margaritas, and experiencing the sensory overload that is Bangla Road, to escaping the madness on a snorkelling tour that somehow involved rough seas, mystery islands, a new friend from London, and a bus full of strangers bonding over one unforgettable fart incident.

I share the highs, lows, culture shocks, travel mishaps, airport dramas, and the moments that reminded me why solo travel is one of the greatest adventures you can have.

My biggest takeaway? Don't let social media make your travel decisions for you. Some of the best experiences happen when you stop over-planning, embrace the unknown, and trust that even when things go wrong, you've still got 24 hours in the day to make it right.

Because at the end of the day-you don't know what you don't know.
