fortunately at this point I haven't received any letters telling me that someone has erased me or the show from their mind, because if they did that would mean they aren't here now to learn about my friend Dan Sheehan and his favorite movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Who would have thought a 2004 Micheal Gondry directed indie movie featuring Jim Carey and Kate Winslet doing the opposite of their norms would have garnered two Academy Award nominations? With the help of a star studded supporting cast (Mark Ruffalo, Elijah Wood, Kiersten Dunst, Tom Wilkinson, Jane Adams, and David Cross) it is no surprise to see why Eternal Sunshine has done so well as it has, and has taken the mantle of favorite movie for so many people.
