Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Your alarm clock thinks it's doing you a favor. It goes off at the same time every morning with this confidence. Like it knows something you don't. Meanwhile you're negotiating with it. Five more minutes. Just five. Your alarm doesn't care. It's just following orders you gave it at some point when you thought you were the kind of person who gets up at six thirty.

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

I was at the hardware store yesterday. Guy in front of me was buying a single light bulb. The cashier asked if he needed a bag. He said no thanks. I'm installing it in the parking lot before I leave.

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

So here's something we treat as law but probably shouldn't. We think being early is just being late with anxiety. That showing up ten minutes before something starts means you messed up your timing and now you're stuck in a waiting room scrolling your phone pretending you meant to do this. But that's not actually true.

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

I've been thinking about this all morning. You know how sometimes the hardest part of doing something isn't the doing. It's the gap between deciding to do it and actually starting. You open the document and it's blank. You stand in front of the closet deciding what to wear. You stare at the email you need to write and suddenly you need more coffee first. Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

You know that thing where you add something to your cart online and then just leave it there. Not because you can't afford it. Not because you changed your mind. You just close the tab. And then three days later you open it back up and half the time you've completely forgotten why you wanted it in the first place.

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Have you checked on that plant today. The one on your desk or your kitchen counter or that windowsill you walk past forty times but never really look at. Most of us have something alive in our space that we're technically responsible for. And most of the time we remember it exists only when we notice it's drooping.

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

I made toast this morning. Just regular toast. But I actually stood there and watched it while it toasted. I didn't check my phone.

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

So here's something we all do but pretend we don't. We wait until we're completely stuck before we ask for help. Not when we first notice the problem. Not when it's still manageable. We wait until we're underwater. Until the thing has compounded. Until asking feels like admitting defeat. Like there's some invisible rule that says you have to earn assistance by first proving you can't do it alone.
