The episode marks a milestone for the podcast, which passed 100 episodes without a celebration and decided to throw the party late. Each page shows a different kind of belonging: the Sorting Hat scene, the slur in Hagrid's hut, the Bulgarian minister's English at the Quidditch World Cup, Sirius in Grimmauld Place, Narcissa Malfoy's contempt at Madam Malkin's, and Harry's seventeenth birthday. Wamble applies each lens to Hermione Granger, a Muggle-born who treats knowledge as her way in, and traces how fluency, credentials, and defiance shape her standing in the magical world. He also explains why Muggle-born characters invest so much in learning the social and linguistic rules that no textbook teaches. The episode ends with a first look at Behind the Cloak, Chapter 8, on patriarchy, desire, and who is treated as belonging to whom.
