  • Lance J LoRusso - Law Enforcement, True Lives, and Hollywood
    2025/08/02

Lance J. LoRusso, Principal of the LoRusso Law Firm, Founder of Blue Line Law Institute, a former law enforcement officer, the FOP 2021 lawyer of the year, and the author of the critically acclaimed mystery novel Hunting of Men. Lance has firsthand experience in the law enforcement world and brings a unique perspective on the emotional and physical toll that police officers endure. Having worked in the field himself, he argues that the depiction of police officers in Hollywood as “lone wolves” or “burnt-out heroes” fails to capture the real struggles and sacrifices law enforcement professionals face every day.

LoRusso has been a frequent guest on CNN, Fox News Channel, HLN, and Court TV, discussing law enforcement issues with authority and insight. He believes that the struggles of real police officers go far beyond what’s shown on the screen, emphasizing the daily balance they strike between high-stakes work, family life, and personal well-being.
