  • When My Sistah Wins We All Win - ft. Amy Pierre-Russo
    2026/01/22

In this episode, we're diving deep into the power of community, career clarity, and creating the professional support system we were promised but never received. Today, I'm sharing Coach Amy Pierre-Russo's incredible journey from HR professional watching people struggle in silence to becoming a transformational coach building Harmonious Moms—a community dedicated to helping mothers, especially women of color and first-generation professionals, navigate career transitions with harmony instead of overwhelm.

This isn't just about career coaching—it's about US, our resilience, and how we can turn setbacks into breakthroughs when we have the right support. With 300,000+ Black women recently laid off, Coach Amy provides the roadmap for moving from crisis to clarity, from isolation to integration, and from surviving to thriving.

Remember that feeling when your professional success stopped feeling like success? We're exploring why this disconnection happens and exactly what to do about it. Coach Amy breaks down the critical difference between coaching (forward-looking goals) and therapy (processing the past), explains her "harmony over balance" approach, and shares how Harmonious Moms offers monthly connection calls, AI audits, content marketing training, and most importantly—a village that celebrates your ambitions instead of questioning them.

  • Motivational Monday - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s and His Ultimate Sacrifice!!!
    2026/01/20

In this episode, we're diving deep into what it truly means to stand in the gap and honor the ultimate sacrifice. Today, we're reflecting on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy—not just as a historical figure, but as a man who gave EVERYTHING so that we could have opportunities today. This isn't just about remembering history—it's about US, our responsibility, and how we answer the question: "Are we willing to stand for something?"

I'm sharing my personal experience visiting the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, standing on the balcony where Dr. King was assassinated, and feeling the weight of what true martyrdom means. Family, we're facing backward movement on civil rights in 2025, and Dr. King's dream—the one that included whites, blacks, Jews, Gentiles, EVERYONE—is still unfulfilled. From John Lewis to Jesse Jackson to Coretta Scott King, these warriors stood in the gap. Now it's our turn.

  • Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - Good To See You For Another Year
    2026/01/17

In this episode, I share an epiphany from a recent conference where I saw familiar faces from last year, and it hit me like a ton of bricks: not everyone made it back this year. Some people we saw last January aren't with us this January. That reality completely changed how I greet people.

Instead of those automatic responses we all give—"I'm blessed and highly favored," "can't complain"—I started telling people, "I'm just glad to see your face. I'm glad we both made it back for another year." You should've seen their faces scrunch up as it registered: we're taking these reunions for granted when every single one is a miracle.

This isn't just about conferences, fam. It's about US. It's about the loved ones we've lost, the entertainers who seemed invincible, the people who lost their health or their minds. To be amongst the living again, stronger and sharper—that deserves celebration RIGHT NOW, not later. I've been on the road finding value in peace and quiet, getting into my Word, and in those moments, I think about you—this podcast family. When I see your DMs and messages week after week, that's proof God is keeping us together with no gimmicks, just authentic connection.

But here's the real talk I need you to hear: one day you might turn this show on and I might not be here. One day there might be no more episodes to listen to. That's just the reality behind life—we all must go one day. So let's celebrate the time we have together NOW.

Drop a comment about someone you're grateful is still in your life, and share how you're going to show them you appreciate seeing their face! Let's stop taking our reunions for granted and start celebrating every single moment we have together. 🙏🏾

  • The Corner Connection - The Survival Essentials Nobody Needs To Be Talking About
    2026/01/10

Family, I need you to sit down for this one. This isn't our typical Cousin Ed's Corner episode. This one episode I didn't want to have to do, but the one I MUST! Today we're diving deep into Emergency Preparedness, Survival Essentials, and protecting your family when the world gets unpredictable.

Remember when COVID hit and none of us were ready? Remember the panic, the empty shelves, the uncertainty? I'm watching what's happening right now—military ships positioned outside Cuba, tensions with Venezuela, threats toward Greenland, escalating conflicts with China, Russia, Iran, and Iraq—and I refuse to let my family go through another crisis unprepared. This episode is about our responsibility to protect ourselves and the people we love.

We're breaking down seven critical survival categories: food and water storage (6-12 months worth!), shelter and warmth essentials, health and hygiene supplies, communication systems for when cell towers fail, financial preparedness with cash and precious metals, energy independence through solar power, and yes—we're having the uncomfortable conversation about the Second Amendment and family protection. From MREs to two-way radios, from dehydrated food to bartering skills, we're building our survival readiness bags together.

This is the same kind of talk our parents had to have with us about how to act when police pull you over, or how to navigate being followed in stores. These are uncomfortable truths, but they're NECESSARY truths. I'm not trying to scare you, family—I'm trying to PREPARE you. Because love means protection, and protection requires preparation.

Tap in to get equipped: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner

After you listen, I NEED to hear from you! What's in your survival readiness bag? What am I missing in mine? Do you want Part 2 of this conversation? Send me a DM, drop a comment, or text me directly at 762-333-2032. Let's build this preparedness community together, because prepared neighbors are safe neighbors, and safe families are strong families!

Share this episode with someone who needs this message—your parents, your siblings, your friends who think "it can't happen here." Let's protect our people with the same energy we bring to chasing our dreams. 💪🏾

  • The Corner Connection - Cherishing The Importance of What Truly Matters During the Holidays
    2026/01/08

In this episode, we're diving into something that's transformed how I view not just the holidays, but more of how I think every single day—the power of presence and the blessing of "Everyone In The Picture!" This isn't just about family photos—it's about our gratitude, and recognizing that the greatest gift we receive each year isn't wrapped in paper, it's seeing the same faces we love still here with us.

Remember when the holidays were all about the parties, the gifts, the celebrations? I'm sharing how my answer to "How was your Christmas? or How was your New Years?" evolved over several days of conversations into something far more profound: "Everyone that was in the picture last year is in the picture this year." Through surgeries, struggles, pain, and life's daily uncertainties, everyone made it. Fam, that's what I'm celebrating.

  • Motivational Monday - Your Best You in 2026
    2026/01/06

In this episode, we're diving deep into what it means to stop TRYING and start BEING the best version of yourself. Today marks the first Motivational Monday of 2026, and we're not playing around, family. This isn't just about making New Year's resolutions—this is about US, our daily commitment to excellence, and how the small things we do create the big results we desire.

Remember how we said 2026 was going to be different? Well, it starts right here, right now. I'm sharing why eliminating the word "try" from your vocabulary changes everything, how my dad serves as my accountability partner who won't let me settle for mediocre, and why doing small things with excellence—like prepping your lunch the night before or showing up to work on time—builds the foundation for extraordinary success.
