  • Motivational Monday - The Memorable Moments
    2026/03/10

Family, I almost let this one slide — it was late, I was tired, it had been a long weekend — but I just couldn't go to bed without talking to y'all. Because this weekend? This weekend was one of the best I've had in a long, long time.

I spent it with my daughter. My senior. My baby who is no longer really a baby. And watching her move through the world — independent, confident, full of light — I felt something shift in me. Pride, joy, and that bittersweet knowing that time does NOT slow down for any of us.

So in this episode, I'm coming to you with one message straight from the heart: do something with your kids that will last forever. Individually. Intentionally. Now — before tomorrow comes and the moment is gone.

This is a short one, but don't let the length fool you. There's a word in here for every parent, every guardian, every person who pours into a child. Tap in and then go create a memory that they'll carry with them forever. 💛

  • Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - God Is Still God!!!
    2026/03/06

In this episode, we're going to a place I don't always let you see — deep inside a personal testimony about the season I questioned God and He blessed me anyway. I speak about a message that I heard today, GOD IS STILL GOD!!! We're diving into the timeless truth of the Book of Job, and what it still means for us today when life has tried us, tested us, and taken things from us we didn't know how to let go.

I'm sharing the story of losing my grandmother, walking six years in spiritual distance, and then sitting in a church pew in Brooklyn — full-ride scholarship in hand — realizing that God never stopped covering me. And maybe, just maybe, she became my angel on the other side. 👼🏾And not once did HE leave me, GOD IS STILL GOD!!!

This isn't just my story — it's yours too. Whether you're in the valley right now or just climbing out, this message is for you: God is still God. He's above you, behind you, in front of you, and beneath your feet. And all He's asking is that you follow His voice. GOD IS STILL GOD!!!

Come to the Corner, family. Tap in, let me know how this one hit you, and please share it with someone who needs this right now. Let's keep lifting each other up. 💪🏾

  • Wind Down Wednesday - Finding Time For You And Reclaiming Your Peace
    2026/03/04

Wind Down Wednesday is BACK — and I'm coming to you with something I needed to say to myself just as much as I'm saying it to you. In this episode, we're talking about reclaiming your rest before the weekend even gets here. We're talking about what happens when life gets so busy that YOUR time becomes the last thing on the list — and how we change that starting TODAY.

I'm getting personal in this one. I share where I am, what my rest actually looks like right now, and why I'm calling myself back to being intentional about winding down. If your weekends have been flying by without a single moment that felt like it was truly for YOU — this episode is for the family.

The challenge is simple: Use today — Wednesday — to plan three things you're going to do for yourself this weekend. That's it. Three things. Whether it's cooking, a walk, getting your hair done, or a spades game with your people — plan it, protect it, and do it.

And family — please keep Aunt Myrtle in your prayers. She's recovering from surgery and we're believing for her full restoration. 🙏🏾

Tap in and let's wind down together: 👉 https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner

Drop me a comment — what are YOUR three things this weekend? And if this message speaks to you, share it with somebody who needs permission to rest. Let's keep showing up for each other. 💛🖤

  • Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - The Storm Is Over
    2026/02/27

In today's episode, we're talking about what happens AFTER the storm. The rain cleared overnight, the roads are still wet — and I needed to know: are you going back down those same dangerous roads, or are you choosing a better path? This isn't just about weather. This is about the cycles we return to, the situations we revisit, and the faith it takes to reroute your life when God is trying to lead you somewhere new.

This episode came straight from a morning weather report and a word God dropped in my spirit before I even sat down to record. We're diving into what it really means to be spiritually prepared — suited up like a soldier, stocked like a cruise ship — and I'm interceding for YOUR family, YOUR promotion, YOUR open doors, and YOUR peace of mind in this one. God is above you, before you, behind you, and beneath you, family. You are fully covered. And if you've been going through it — if the storm has been LOUD lately — this episode is your reminder that brighter days are ahead.

Come tap in with me and bring somebody with you 👉 https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner

Drop a comment and tell me — what storm did God just bring you through? What road are you avoiding now that you couldn't see clearly before? Let's talk about it, family. • The Corner Connection - Reflection on Grief, Joy, and Family Legacy 'Call Your Love Ones'
    2026/02/26

Today's episode almost didn't make it to you, fam — and I mean that literally. I sat down to record my Wind Down Wednesday, and before I could even press record, a Google photo memory popped up on my phone and stopped me cold. It was a picture from the day our family buried my loved-aunt — my mother's sister, my other aunt's twin. And just like that, the whole show changed direction.

This Corner Connect, I'm talking about what it looks like when grief and joy share the same room. I'm talking about seeing family I haven't hugged in years and remembering what it felt like when the whole family used to fill my great-grandmother's house with laughter. And I'm talking about watching my mother and my aunt — the last two standing of my grandmother's children — still trying to find their smile on one of the hardest days.

But more than anything, this episode is a call to action — for me and for you. I had to check myself. I talk about connection. But I had to get real and admit: I can do better. We can do better. Because I don't want the next time somebody sees me to be in a box. I want us to celebrate each other while we're still standing, still breathing, still here together.

Come tap in, fam. Let this one sit with you. And after you listen, call somebody you love. Not tomorrow — today. That's what Cousin Ed's Corner is all about. LOVE💙 Listen here: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner — and please share this with someone in your family who needs this reminder. Let me know in the comments: when's the last time you really showed up for your people? 💪🏾 Connect with your boy: 762-333-2032 or @CousinEdsCorner on all platforms. Family over everything. 👑

  • Motivational Monday - Don't Let the Life's Umpire Decide Your Fate: Why You Must Always Swing for Excellence
    2026/02/24

On today's show, we're diving deep into the power of choosing Excellence over mediocrity, and why settling for "just enough" is one of the most dangerous places you can live. This isn't just a motivational message — it's a real conversation rooted in my own life, a father's wisdom, and personal testimony from moments when everything I worked for got taken from me.

Remember that time someone told you that you weren't good enough? Or when you held back from swinging at an opportunity and let somebody else decide your fate? We're talking about ALL of that today. Through a baseball analogy that will shift your perspective, through a father-son conversation that changed the trajectory of my life, and through a workplace testimony that proves excellence ALWAYS pays off — this episode is packed with truth you can carry into every area of your life.

This one is for you. For your kids. For your coworkers. For that person in your life who keeps settling for average when they were built for greatness. Be the head, not the tail. Don't stand at the plate and let the umpire write your story — SWING. Put in the work. Stay in the game. And trust that when you do things with excellence and integrity, the reward will come — even if it takes a little time.

  • The Corner Connection - A Wall Is Only As Strong As It's Foundation 'The Hidden Cost of Being Everyone's Foundation'
    2026/02/20

Fam, this one is personal. Like, I started recording this episode three or four times before I could even get through it — that's how deep this one goes. And when I finally sat down and let it flow, I realized this conversation has been building inside me for time. So here we are NOW. And I need you to pull up a chair.

Every structure you've ever seen standing tall has one thing holding it together underneath — the foundation. And a lot of us in our families, our friendships, our circles — WE are that foundation. We're the ones everybody builds on. The ones who show up when called, loan when asked, listen when needed, and pour out endlessly so everyone else can stand tall. But here's the question nobody's asking — what happens to the foundation when it starts to crack?

On this Corner Connection, I'm getting completely honest about the hidden cost of being everyone's go-to. From my high school coach redirecting my recruiting opportunities to help other students because he knew I'd "be okay," to friends who will send you every podcast on the planet except yours — I'm laying it all out. I'm talking about the quiet exhaustion of always being strong. The sting of showing up for people who don't show up for you. The slow drain of giving your best to people who assume your best will always just be there. And I'm checking myself too — because I've had gaps. I've been the person who didn't realize someone needed me. This conversation goes both ways, fam.

A wall is only as strong as its foundation. And if nobody is pouring back into YOU — eventually something gives. This episode is my way of pouring into every strong one out there who needed somebody to finally say — I see you. I hear you. And your cup deserves to be filled too.

Tap in. Share this with the foundation in your life — the person who holds everything together and never complains about it. Let them know they are seen. Let's pour into each other the way we were built to. That's what Cousin Ed's Corner is all about. 👑💪🏾
