  • Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - The Ripple Effect 'How One Small Kindness Come Back To Us Each Day'
    2026/09/05

FAM, I just got off the road and had to sit right down and get this one out. All week long I watched people be good to each other. Strangers lifting bags into the overhead bin, somebody carrying a family's car seat, and a whole plane full of people, every race, cheering for a little boy because it was his birthday. That moment right there reminded me who we still are and who we can be for each other.

In this episode, we're talking about the small acts that turn into the big stuff. If God does the one huge thing of waking us up every single morning, then we can do the little things all day long. I get into tipping the folks who serve us, grabbing one item for the person behind you in line, and giving in ways that don't cost a dime, like mentoring a kid, donating to a college fund, or teaching a young man how to tie a tie. Then I bring it home with the ripple effect: pitch a penny, watch it touch everything, and if your toes are in the water, watch it come right back to you.

  • Wind Down Wednesdays - The Power Of A Quickie
    2026/09/03

This is a QUICK check-in, and it got sparked by one simple phone call. A brother of mine, a coach, called me this morning and said he just needed to hear Cousin Ed. That right there reminded me why I keep showing up. This has never been just about me. It's about US, the Community, growing and getting better together. It's not just a podcast, it's a Community.

In this one I pour out some gratitude for every text, every DM, and every kind word that keeps this movement building. I talk about why I keep bringing our family on, the folks some of y'all call guests, so the pros in their field can teach us and clarify what your cousin has been telling you all along. And I give you a peek at what's coming: more video content, more guests, and even some episodes where guests take over the show. There is a live video version of this over on our Substack, so if you want to see it and not just hear it, come subscribe and TAP IN.

  • Motivational Monday - Listening Over Fighting 'The Quiet Power Of Validation'
    2026/09/01

On today's episode, I am getting real with you about something we all do but rarely admit. We live on defense. The second somebody comes at us with a different view, a different feeling, a different truth, we brace up and buck before we ever really listen. It started with a video I could not shake this past weekend, and it turned into one of the most honest conversations I have had about how some men truly feel.

I take you from the "Black Lives Matter" versus "All Lives Matter" moment all the way into my own household, where my baby girl is growing into her independence and teaching me to breathe, put the ego down, and let her feel validated. (It's a work in progress.) I even pull in a little hoop wisdom, because when your teammate misses the free throw, YOU did not lose. WE lost. That is what being a team really means, on the court, in the house, and in this community.

And yes, this ties right into our "Hug a Tree" series, because staying grounded and rooted is exactly what this moment asks of us. I am not preaching from some mountaintop here, I am learning right alongside you. That Brooklyn is still in me, trust me. But three little words are changing my relationships one conversation at a time: I hear you.
