  • When My Sistah Wins We All Win - ft. Amy Pierre-Russo
    2026/01/22

In this episode, we're diving deep into the power of community, career clarity, and creating the professional support system we were promised but never received. Today, I'm sharing Coach Amy Pierre-Russo's incredible journey from HR professional watching people struggle in silence to becoming a transformational coach building Harmonious Moms—a community dedicated to helping mothers, especially women of color and first-generation professionals, navigate career transitions with harmony instead of overwhelm.

This isn't just about career coaching—it's about US, our resilience, and how we can turn setbacks into breakthroughs when we have the right support. With 300,000+ Black women recently laid off, Coach Amy provides the roadmap for moving from crisis to clarity, from isolation to integration, and from surviving to thriving.

Remember that feeling when your professional success stopped feeling like success? We're exploring why this disconnection happens and exactly what to do about it. Coach Amy breaks down the critical difference between coaching (forward-looking goals) and therapy (processing the past), explains her "harmony over balance" approach, and shares how Harmonious Moms offers monthly connection calls, AI audits, content marketing training, and most importantly—a village that celebrates your ambitions instead of questioning them.

  • Motivational Monday - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s and His Ultimate Sacrifice!!!
    2026/01/20

In this episode, we're diving deep into what it truly means to stand in the gap and honor the ultimate sacrifice. Today, we're reflecting on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy—not just as a historical figure, but as a man who gave EVERYTHING so that we could have opportunities today. This isn't just about remembering history—it's about US, our responsibility, and how we answer the question: "Are we willing to stand for something?"

I'm sharing my personal experience visiting the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, standing on the balcony where Dr. King was assassinated, and feeling the weight of what true martyrdom means. Family, we're facing backward movement on civil rights in 2025, and Dr. King's dream—the one that included whites, blacks, Jews, Gentiles, EVERYONE—is still unfulfilled. From John Lewis to Jesse Jackson to Coretta Scott King, these warriors stood in the gap. Now it's our turn.

Tap in to embrace the challenge: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner

Drop me a comment about where YOU'RE willing to stand in the gap—in your community, your church, your household. Share a moment when you witnessed injustice and chose to act, or tell me what this episode inspired you to do differently! Let's keep honoring Dr. King by DOING the work, not just observing the holiday. 💪🏾

  • Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - Good To See You For Another Year
    2026/01/17

In this episode, I share an epiphany from a recent conference where I saw familiar faces from last year, and it hit me like a ton of bricks: not everyone made it back this year. Some people we saw last January aren't with us this January. That reality completely changed how I greet people.

Instead of those automatic responses we all give—"I'm blessed and highly favored," "can't complain"—I started telling people, "I'm just glad to see your face. I'm glad we both made it back for another year." You should've seen their faces scrunch up as it registered: we're taking these reunions for granted when every single one is a miracle.

This isn't just about conferences, fam. It's about US. It's about the loved ones we've lost, the entertainers who seemed invincible, the people who lost their health or their minds. To be amongst the living again, stronger and sharper—that deserves celebration RIGHT NOW, not later. I've been on the road finding value in peace and quiet, getting into my Word, and in those moments, I think about you—this podcast family. When I see your DMs and messages week after week, that's proof God is keeping us together with no gimmicks, just authentic connection.

But here's the real talk I need you to hear: one day you might turn this show on and I might not be here. One day there might be no more episodes to listen to. That's just the reality behind life—we all must go one day. So let's celebrate the time we have together NOW.

Tap in to this powerful message: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner

Drop a comment about someone you're grateful is still in your life, and share how you're going to show them you appreciate seeing their face! Let's stop taking our reunions for granted and start celebrating every single moment we have together. 🙏🏾
