Two books found me back to back — Brian McLaren's Life After Doom and Arthur Brooks's The Meaning of Your Life, and they both offered much to ponder. A former minister and a Harvard scientist, describing the same uneasy crisis in different words, and to slightly different audiences. Both pointing the very same way: inward, toward your meaning, and toward your light. In this episode, I walk through McLaren's four scenarios for how our changing world could go, why facing them honestly is an act of courage rather than despair, and how both books land exactly where my work has always lived — in your energy, your light, and the choice to consciously evolve! Evolution by choice, not chance!
