Rev. Highfield is a Certified Educator with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) and a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC). She provides education and consultation with CPE programs across the country. She was previously the Director of Pastoral Care at Mary Washington Healthcare, a Certified Educator at Virginia Commonwealth University, and a congregational pastor in Oklahoma and Virginia. Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas and her Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary. She earned her Master of Science in Patient Counseling and Master of Science in Patient Counseling-Supervisory Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was ordained in and maintains endorsement with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In her free time, she enjoys studying history, cross-stitching, and watching soccer.

Rev. Jenny T. Lannom is a native Houstonian and Texan. She is a regional Director of Pastoral Care and CPE with Baylor Scott & White Health in Central Texas. Jenny also serves as a current Director of the ACPE Board. She has previously served on the ACPE Board in the early 2000’s, initially as Secretary and then as the Southwest Regional Representative. While a regional representative, Jenny chaired the task force on ACPE Governance Revision for the Board. She also served on the Certification Committee of the South-Central Region of ACPE, before the restructuring of ACPE, Inc. She is a United Methodist Elder in the Texas Annual Conference.

Jenny attended Emory University’s Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated with a Master of Divinity degree and did her initial four units of CPE at Georgia Baptist Medical Center as part of her seminary coursework. Jenny served as an Associate Pastor after graduating from seminary before moving into professional chaplaincy.

Jenny began her chaplaincy career at Texas Medical Center of Houston as a Staff Chaplain at Houston Methodist Hospital. She served as a cardiac/nephrology chaplain for 11 years. While at Methodist, she became board-certified as a professional Chaplain through the Association of Professional Chaplains (for 36 years) and trained to become a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Certified Educator with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). Jenny has managed CPE programs in 4 different states, working in regional hospitals, a level I trauma hospital, and a Cancer Medical Center. She was an active Board-Certified Chaplain for 36 years.”

Dr. DuWayne Battle (PhD, DMin, MDiv, MSW) is the Senior Pastor of the historic St. Paul Baptist Church, Harlem, NYC, where he has served for the past 17 years with a focus on worship, proclamation, prayer, reconciliation, and discipleship. His ministry has covered 47 years, 6 continents, 19 countries, extensive travels throughout the United States, and leadership in five other congregations. Dr. Battle is also an Assistant Dean, Full Professor, Director of the Bachelor’s Social Work program, and Campus Coordinator of the Baccalaureate Child Welfare Education Program at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

Rev. Charles “Craig” Stevens is the CPE Supervisor and Director of the Spiritual Care and Clinical Pastoral Education Department at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC. He is certified as a Diplomate in Pastoral Supervision by the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP) and a Board Certified Chaplain through the Spiritual Care Association. Rev. Stevens holds an MDiv. from Gardner-Webb University and a B.S. from Clemson University. He is ordained and endorsed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. When not in the hospital, Craig and his wife spend time camping, attending Clemson Tiger football games, and volunteering their weekends as marching band parents to their three children.

Reverend M. Jeffrey (Jeff) Hoppe – I became fully certified as an ACPE Educator in 2005 during my 18-year service as a Staff Chaplain in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. I came to Chaplaincy as a vocation after 5 years in the local parish and a year of Residency at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. I am a native of Texas, have lived in various regions of the country, am educated/ordained in Southern Baptist institutions, and am endorsed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Before coming to Eastern Oklahoma VA Healthcare System in 2018, I served in a Chaplain leadership role at Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. I have been married to my wife Kathy since 1981. We have two adult sons, three grandsons, and one granddaughter. In the past several years, Kathy and I have collaborated in the writing and publishing of two books: ‘Discovery Teaching Like Jesus’ and ‘Drowning for Jesus.’
