Gray Southon & Kevin Clements is former Clerk of the Futures Committee of the(Quakers) - Aotearoa/NZ Gray was educated in physics in NZ and Canada and worked as a medical physicist in Canada and Australia. He later moved into information and organizational studies, undertook research in the management of information systems On retiring in 2003 he become involved in the United Nations Association and supporting the UN generally. Kevin Clements is the former director and Foundation Chair of Peace and Conflict Studies center at the University of Otago, and Secretary General of the International Peace Research Association. Kevin Clements, is now Director of Toda Peace Institute for Global Peace and Policy Research) an independent, nonpartisan institute committed to advancing a more just and peaceful world through policy-oriented peace research and practice.     Malak Tamimi the fruit of Palestinian & NZ - Malak Tamimi is a 16-year-old Palestinian Zealander who, upon returning from a visit to her Palestinian West Bank homeland, ntered the latest Race Unity Speech Awards. She won two awards, the Tohu Eke Panuku — Human Rights Commission Award for Impact and the Tohu Manukura i te Reo — Māori Language Commission Award for Te Reo Māori. We discussed the impact of Palestinian and Aotearoa New Zealand culture on her maturing into the positive person she is and her experience on the West Bank of Palestine's resilient and vibrant culture, which reminds one of the olive tree with its resilience and fruitfulness.
