He later moved into information and organizational studies, undertook research in the management of information systems On retiring in 2003 he become involved in the United Nations Association and supporting the UN generally. Kevin Clements is the former director and Foundation Chair of Peace and Conflict Studies center at the University of Otago, and Secretary General of the International Peace Research Association. Kevin Clements, is now Director of Toda Peace Institute for Global Peace and Policy Research) an independent, nonpartisan institute committed to advancing a more just and peaceful world through policy-oriented peace research and practice.
