  • #85 - Ryan Redfern - The Opinions You're Not Allowed to Have
    2025/05/02

Pietro is joined by Ryan Redfern, Ballarat candidate for the Libertarian Party.

With the Federal Election almost upon us, Ryan looks at all the opinions that the establishment doesn’t want you to hold—things like opposition to the cult of Climate Change, the need for Women’s Only spaces, removing privileged groups and government mandated “welcome to countries”.

  • #84 - John Humphreys - The Major Parties are Awful on Economics
    2025/04/23

Pietro is joined by John Humphreys, economist with the Australian Taxpayers Alliance, and founder of the Libertarian Party of Australia.

John sheds some light on the economic state of the country, how stagnation and inflation driving the so-called “cost-of-living” crisis, and how productivity is our only way out of this mess.

He also elaborates on how Liberal and Labor are not only blind to this need for productivity, but in many ways actively impeding our only exit-route from economic catastrophe. With the Federal election around the corner, John looks at the major party tax policies, and what they could be doing if they had Australians’ best interests at heart rather than their own: what tax reform could be adopted, what programs need to be cut.

  • #83 - Josh Utoyo - Guerrilla Warfare at the Federal Election
    2025/04/18

Pietro is joined by Josh Utoyo, Libertarian Party candidate for Menzies. Josh is young, hungry and provocative, and the two discuss some of the out-of-the-box, guerrilla-style strategies that Josh is employing to gain some cut-through to voters.

Josh discusses the lay of the land of his seat, how the election is shaping up, as well as some of his experiences in dealing with the more unsavoury characters that are attracted to politics.

Josh is also preparing for what he predicts will be a bloodbath event, where he is speaking at a Climate 200 candidate forum, and is the only candidate in attendance who is not a member of the cult of climate change.

  • #82 - Dutton Loses the Election
    2025/04/11

Pietro and Floyd look at the 2025 Australian Federal election as it heats up. They take aim at Peter Dutton, particularly for his weak stances on populist right wing issues which he had originally campaigned on: cutting 41 000 public sector jobs, ending work-from-home arrangements for public sector employees, and various others.

They look at predictions for the outcomes of the election, and take a look at other groups, such as Anthony Albanese, the Labor party, the Greens, the Socialists.

They also discuss the issues which aren’t being discussed by the majors: namely ending funding for Israel, Ukraine, the NDIS, climate alarmism, and any other number of useless government programs which seem altogether untouchable.

  • #81 - Clive Palmer is Bad for Freedom
    2025/03/15

Pietro and Floyd look at Clive Palmer’s new endeavour, the Trumpet of Patriots, and how it is actually a net negative for freedom, despite all of Clive’s Trump-imitating rhetoric. They discuss what this means for the upcoming Federal election, and how it could impact the far better choices, such as the Libertarian Party.

They also discuss Trump’s recent tariffs against the world, and Australia specifically. They look at Albanese’s response, as well as those of Dutton and Shorten. Most importantly they discuss what tariffs really are, and how they are another form of taxation of regular people in disguise.

  • #80 - Joe McCracken - Inside the Liberal Party Leadership Spill
    2025/01/13

Pietro is joined for the first episode of 2025 by Joe McCracken, Liberal Party of Victoria Member of the Legislative Council, and centrally privy to all the latest drama of the Victorian Liberal leadership spill where Brad Battin has replaced John Pesutto.

Joe goes into many of the details of how the spill eventuated, spurred on by Moira Deeming’s defamation case win over the former opposition leader in early December, and the subsequent battles over whether to reinstate her within the party room (for which Joe voted in favour twice).

They also talk Commonwealth Games debacle, the disasters left behind by Dan Andrews which Jacinta Allen is trying contend with, the 2026 election and what it may hold, and much more.

They also look into how the Liberal party has and hasn’t aligned with it’s purported free market and free individual values, and where they rank on the strict report card of ardent libertarians.

  • #79 - Vic Libs in Turmoil as Pesutto Fails Again
    2024/12/13

Pietro and Floyd take a look at recent events here in Victoria, namely the outcome of the Moira Deeming defamation case against John Pesutto. Yesterday it was ruled that Pesutto did indeed defame Moira by implying she was a nazi-sympathiser while she was part of the ‘Let Women Speak’ Rally in 2023 and the protest was gatecrashed by neo-nazis.

There is increased intrigue around this case because Moira had been framed not only as a nazi, but the entire protest was deemed (no pun intended) to be ‘anti-trans’ and ‘transphobic’, a severe crime in the eyes of the ever-increasingly woke-left.

The two look at what this means for the Liberal Party in Victoria, what this means for Australian politics more broadly, and dive into whether ‘woke-politics’ is no longer as powerful as it was over the last few years.

  • #78 - 'MAD' Bill Fails in Federal Senate
    2024/11/17

Pietro and Floyd look at the recent movements in Australian Parliament—namely the MAD (Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill failing this past week after independent Senators Lambie, Pocock, and Payman all announced they would vote against it. The Libertarian Party was instrumental in mobilising community members contacting the Senators’ offices and pleading with them to vote against it.

Unfortunately, while this encroachment on free speech seems to be momentarily forestalled, the Social Media Ban for all kids under 16 will pass next week with bipartisan Labor and Liberal support, and Albanese and Dutton arguing over who supports it more.

Pietro and Floyd also take a look at the recent ‘haka’ demonstration in Parliament by the Te Maori party in response to David Seymour from the Libertarian party (ACT) over there attempting to remove some of the enshrined privileges the indigenous have been enjoying there at the expense of the taxpayer.
