  • Can Kindness Change Your Life? | Good Things Guy
    2026/05/21

    Is kindness a superpower?

In this episode of Coffee Charged Conversations, I sit down with South Africa’s Good Things Guy, Brent Lindeque.

A decade ago, one small act of kindness changed Brent’s life forever. What started as one small act of kindness went viral around the world and changed the course of his life. That moment eventually led to the creation of Good Things Guy, one of South Africa’s biggest good news platforms.

But this conversation goes far beyond good news.

Brent shares why kindness has the power to change lives, how gratitude can completely shift your perspective, and why happiness is often found in the small things. We also speak about therapy, anxiety, mental health, self-care, and why so many people feel emotionally exhausted right now.

From meeting Oprah to building a platform focused on positivity and hope, this conversation is a reminder that even when life feels heavy, good things still exist.

  • How I Gained and Lost 25kg on Purpose | Weight Loss Transformation
    2026/04/09

He intentionally gained 25kg in 120 days, then gave himself 120 days to lose it all again.

In this episode of Coffee Charged Conversations, online weight loss coach Kopano Mokhele shares the story behind the Sdudla Sgora Challenge, one of the boldest weight loss transformation journeys you’ll hear about. He deliberately built unhealthy habits to gain the weight, then set out to lose it again without relying on gym, extreme dieting, or supplements, showing a very different approach to sustainable weight loss.

What makes this story so remarkable is how far he was willing to push himself to understand the process from both sides. Kopano opens up about the real physical and mental toll the challenge took, and why going through it gave him a deeper understanding of the people he coaches every day. More than anything, this was his way of proving that he truly practices what he preaches, while showing what real weight loss, healthy habits, and long-term change can look like in everyday life.

We also get into some of the biggest conversations around weight loss and healthy living today, including walking for weight loss, stress eating, Ozempic, Ozempic side effects, and why so many people still chase quick fixes and ways to lose weight fast instead of building habits that actually last.

Even if you know the result, the real story is everything Kopano had to put himself through to get there, and that’s what makes this episode so compelling.
