    2022/06/30

    Banana split, anyone?

It is our last episode of season 1, and we felt this was the best time to discuss sex.  We know.  We know.  "But... isn't sex the things the dirty whores discuss all the time?"  Maybe.  Probably.  Yeah...it kinda is.  This episode is a tad different.  We are examining what makes a sexual relationship healthy and normal, the taboos and definition of when someone's sex life is described as "vanilla," and the dynamics of sex in our relationships.

Our small female business shoutout is Beauty and the Beard Boutique, located in Racine, WI.  Check them out for your fashion needs!

Last but not least, special thanks to The Almas for letting us use their song Back To Bad.  Check them out on Spotify!

Keep an eye out for what we do in the future!

  • Aquaman vs. John Carter
    2022/06/16

We also could have called this episode of the podcast "Drogo vs. Riggins."

Your favorite dirty whores have returned!  And in this episode they are sharing their celebrity crushes.  From who we first saw in high school that made us say, "Dayum!" to our crushes now, we share all the inspiration for not only our spank bank, but what we look for in a man.  Truly in this episode, we do discover that, much like the TikTok trend, the celebs we go gaga over can inspire what we look for in a man.

Raya shares what attracted her to Patrick Dempsey in high school, and why she digs Jason Momoa, Shia LeBeouf, and Travis Barker.  She also connects the similarities between That Guy and all her eye candy.

Theda shares how hot she thought Orlando Bloom was in high school, and the reasons she finds Taylor Kitsch, Chris Motionless, and Robert Pattinson (cue "Something In The Way") so yummy.  She talks about how after her engagement ended, she used her crushes to help her realize she was settling and what she deserves in a man.

We also look into what thinking about a celeb crush so much means in terms of your love life and what it could be lacking.

After some heavy episodes, this one was our fun one.  Every now and then, we like a chill episode.

Check our our small female business, Homemade Embroidered Crafts, for all your customized item needs!  Seriously!  Owner Heather Williams can make anything you want.  We aren't saying to bootleg your celeb crush merch though...

And of course, cheers to The Almas for providing us with our bomb-ass intro and outro music with their song "Back To Bad."  You can also find them on Spotify!  Fun story about The Almas, when Raya first met band member Frank, she was obsessed with him and kept telling Theda how much she wanted him.

  • That Romantic Shit (Fuck Flowers! Give Me Money!)
    2022/06/01

Ah, romance.  Flowers.  Candy.  Jewelry.  Etc.  Who doesn't enjoy being spoiled?

We sure as fuck love it.  The dirty whores discuss our romance languages, what we look for in a relationship, and our past and current relationships.  Theda wants a sugar daddy because money is her first love.  Raya has That Guy, whom after her is the most important person in her life.

We also discuss a little known day.  International Whores Day on June 2nd.  A day to honor sex workers and recognize their dangerous working conditions.  It all started in France on June 2, 1975 when 100 sex workers began an occupation of a church to end the police harassment, fine, stigma, and the release of ten sex workers who had been imprisoned a few days earlier for solicitation.  Now we hold that day to raise awareness for sex workers and the harsh realities they are still forced to deal with in.

Our small female business is Beauty and Beard Boutique, a store that strives to find you clothing to look and feel beautiful.

Last but not least, shoutout to The Almas, who provide our intro and outro music.  Check them out at almastheband.com and on Spotify!

  • Petty Isn't Pretty...Wait...What?
    2022/05/25

So now you tell us two petty bitches what the kids are saying.  Gen Z isn't petty?  Well we millennials and Gen Xer's are.  And stop calling us chuegys.  Go yeet your Tide Pods and listen to Corpse on the TikToks, darn whipper snappers! (One of us actually listens to Corpse and one of us is constantly watching TikTok.  Neither has ever partaken in the Tide Pod Challenge.)

In this episode, the dirty whores are rediscovering the oh so formative teenage years and how they affect us.  Yeah, listen to the the mid 2000s emo kid and the 90s grunge girl reminisce about about how much high school sucked. But it isn't just we two old broads harping. We are joined by a real Gen Z'er and legit teenager, Olivia Rae, who shares her perspective on growing up in this day and age and the struggles she faces with the effects of social media and the influencer.

Our small business shout-out this episode is Mandy Reilly, author of I Know I Am.  It is a book that Mandy wishes that she would have had as a kid, as it is a book that promotes body positivity for children.  Besides being an author, she also makes homemade stamp jewelry.

Lastly and as always, special thanks to The Almas, who provide our intro and outro music.  Check them out at almastheband.com and on Spotify!

  • Sad Bitch (I Sew My Eyes Shut Just To Sleep)
    2022/05/18
Is it 1am, and the anxiety induced insomnia makes you think what if this super unlikely thing actually happens and destroys your life?  Do you call yourself a sad bitch most of the time?  Do memories of the past haunt you and effect how you react to situations?  Do you need someone to tell you it is going to be okay? Yeah...us too. Or most likely just Theda.  Raya feels that is crossing her boundaries and does not want to discuss her feelings.  Theda will pour it all out in an attempt to find sympathy and feel better.  It was an interesting conversation. This episode, the dirty whores are discussing mental health.  In case the multiple question styled to sound like an early 2000s medicine ad did not tip you off.  The different issues we experience, how we support others (Theda wants to help you through it, but Raya will most likely feel uncomfortable), our methods for treatment, and how our mental health affects our relationships in general.  We learn you can grow, and it does reshape us. Side note, the title of the show is from the song "Black Damask (The Fog)" by Motionless In White.  It is one of Theda's go to when she is down.  It helps release numerous emotions.  We did rerecord this episode, as the first time around, a very valuable lesson was learned.  Never comment on anyone's mental health.  Mental health is something that the individual has to acknowledge to try to work on. Please be aware.  We are not mental health professionals.  So these are our own individual observations while navigating our own mental health, struggles, and ultimately growth. Our small business shout out is Peppermint Patty's Sweets and Treats.  You will find a blessing in every treat, especially the ones she makes! Last but not least, special thanks to The Almas for letting us use their song Back To Bad.  Check them out on Spotify!

  • Wax On. Wax Off.
    2022/05/11

So how good is your pain intake for the sake of beauty?  Because this episode, the dirty whores discuss hair removal/grooming/maintenance/whatever you want to call it.

We discuss our personal views on our own body hair.  The difference on how it is presented to males and females, aka expectations vs a personal choice.  And all the fun and exciting spa treatments you can get with your hair removal.  Seriously.  Vajacial.  Penacial?  Booty facial.  Ngl, that last one sounds like a treat.

We also discover a sperm facial popular with Hollywood actresses.  Yes.  Human sperm.  All for the sake of that youthful glow.  Not about body hair, but damn fascinating to discover.

This week's small business shoutout is Bloom Skin Spa MKE, a premiere Aveda spa set in a space of beauty and bliss.  Plus, this is a spot in Milwaukee you can get a vajacial.  So if you are in the Milwaukee area, check them out in Walker's Point!

  • Pretty Little Kitty
    2022/05/04

Meow, all you adorably dirty whores.  The bitches are back, and can you guess what our episode is about?  Hint: not adorable furry creatures that never quite forgot they were once worshipped.

Yup.  In this episode, we discuss vaginas.  The products that are supposed to make them more pleasant, but aren't actually healthy according to experts.  The procedures meant to give you the vagina of your dreams that might not exactly be safe.  And the opinions of what an ideal vagina is supposed to be, because yeah, that is a thing.  The episode that pissed off Raya Black before we even started recording and ruined a deli meat for us both.

As a note, we did later clarify what some of the men we surveyed said in reference to appearance that a relationship is not made of broken by the appearance of their partner's vagina.  So that was not taken into consideration when we did actually record.  Just wanted to let you know.  We did not get the full story before the recording and should have gotten a little more clarification.

This episode's female local small business shout out is Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE, a volunteer run cat rescue.  (See the connection to the theme?  Clever, eh?  We thought so too.)  They are a 501c3 nonprofit organization and you can donate here to contribute to the care of foster cats and help them reach their goal of a brick and mortar shelter.  And it is tax deductible!

  • The Tittie Show
    2022/04/21

Hey all you sexy, dirty whores.  Hell yes, this really is our very own tittie show.  We are burlesque performers, after all...

You can probably figure it out based on the kinda obvious title, but this episode we discuss every topic about boobs that we can!  Not only do you get to learn our sizes in case, you know, you ever wanted to buy us some bras *wink*, but we discuss our experiences with our ever changing bodies as females, nipples, and the not so pretty side of having breasts.  We never promised that our tittie show would be that sexy, but hey, you're gonna learn a shit ton.

As always, special thanks to The Almas, who provide our intro and outro music.  Check them out at almastheband.com and on Spotify!

And this episode's small business shout out is Wynning Glow, who specialize in paramedical and permanent makeup.  At Wynning Glow, it is their mission to make a positive difference in your life and make you feel comfortable in your own skin.  Check them out!
